It's good to have somewhere so close to Newcastle without the traffic and cost. Winds can be a problem so I can see why some people stayed back from the beach to get more sun and protection. WiFi should be faster as when it's full it will slow down more.

The cabin was very clean and fresh. Linens and towels new and white! Bed comfortable and everything we needed was in the kitchen. The park was close to the ferry which we used to get over to Newcastle , very cheap very fast and every ten twenty minutes. The park was large and the cabins were situated nicely. Ours was directly opposite the walk to the sand and beach. It would have been wonderful if the rain had not been pelting down! I liked the communication before and the information given when arriving. A very safe and secure park and the staff were lovely. I would have given "excellent" but I thought it was a little expensive, even though it was a great cabin it was not luxurious. The fact that it was fairly remote from the city by car is also an issue. The ferry was good but to get anywhere other than the dock area would have meant a bus or a car. A nice place to pull into with a caravan and sit for a few days but not a tourist spot.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and accommodated a late check-in with just a quick call to coordinate. The grounds were well-maintained and very quiet. The sounds of the waves on the beach were a great way to go to sleep!

The only feedback I can give is a thicker blanket even with two we were freezing at night. Apart from that absolute amazing place!

Fabulous location with everything nearby including beach/walks/ferry. We stayed in one of the older villas so not as new/neat/big as the ones near the beach. Facilities excellent for families...

Great location!
It was a great place to stay but my only concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I found lots of hairs on the walls and the floor of the bathroom. It was clear it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The rest of the cabin was clean and would happily stay there again with the family.

Quiet Escape
No hills in Stockton so great for walking and bike riding. Only 5 minutes and $2.60 by ferry to Newcastle but take note of the timetable, it as not as frequent as it might first appear. If you drive to Newcastle, watch out for parking times at Newcastle beach, they change from 4 hours to half an hour for no apparent reason (except maybe to rip off tourists).

The cabin was modern and very clean, and staff were helpful and friendly. Our cabin was located on the walkway to the beach, so we were on the beach in a matter of seconds. Our children enjoyed the play areas within the park.

Nice relaxing stay
Villas are lovely and roomy. Being a busy park i was surprised on how quite it is at night. Great spot right on the beach and breakwall. Handy to newcsatle just jump on the ferry. Staff were lovely and helpful. The cafe at the end of the park was a great spot for brekky or lunch.

Clean, modern, comfortable with an infant
Pleased with our choice to stay here. Clean rooms, linen etc. Park is well run and appointed with amenities, Our stay was for productive reasons in the area and not teally pleasure or leisure but we were able to chill out and enjoy breakfast in the onsite cafe (even with council maintenance occuring outside) Would happily return to the villas or come back with our caravan.

Had a wonderful time. However devastated that the park has no pool. I have young children and so beach can only accomodate for so long. The park I feel is very orientated towards people without children only having 2 parks. Was amazingly clean, staff were so helpful and lovely if you have children 2- 18 not a lot for them to do.

Fantastic spot! Right on the beach, with lots of shells to collect. Beautiful walk up the break wall to watch the whales. Ferry easy to get across to Newcastle.

Perfectly Peaceful!
Check in was a breeze and the lovely ladies at the front desk were very knowledgeable on the local area. We opened up the front door to our cabin, dropped off our bags, and immediately went back to reception to extend our stay - we fell in love immediately! Cabins are as beachfront as they can get and are very new, clean and spacious inside. Local IGA for food only a few minutes walk into from the park, and ferry into Newcastle itself only another few minutes walk from IGA. Loved being in Stockton - not busy and very peaceful at night. This place and this caravan park were the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend the Cabins here!

The cabin and park itself was great being only about 50m to the beach, unfortunately there was excavation works going on at the beach which turned the water at the beach to an uninviting brown colour so we had to drive to Newcastle or Nelson bay to swim.

beds are too soft, couldn't sleep well the beach isn't very nice, especially the sand other than these, the villa is quite new. my family and i had a great time here.

Shipping container accommodation no opening window
Breakwall cabin number nine (9) has windows however they were all locked closed / shut. The staff were notified of this issue within 10 minutes of our arrival and I was told management would get back to us which nobody did at all! It was clean, great location but without windows we might as well been in a shipping container. Other little things like air conditioner remote was broken, cork screw bottle opener broken and the place had extremely blunt knives. I would be aware no check in after 8pm coming from Sydney after work could be an issue for you to consider. It was clean and tidy, the park was relatively quiet other than maintenance being conducted on other units, sanding / vacuuming / hammering. Our stay was off peak season.

Friendly. Access to all things right on the beach.
A great place for beach goers! Rooms clean and luxurious. Although we didn't use the camp kitchen it looked like a great place to cook and share a meal.

Excellent. Our room was on the beachfront with only a short walk (~50m to beach). Room was nice and modern and good cooking facilities. Only downside was that it rained during our stay and couldn't enjoy the main benefits of the beach. Would definitely stay there again.
