This is not my first home rental experience but this has been my worst so far in terms of checkin process, communication and transparency.I was charged for replacing a whole new nightstand despite no evidence supporting claim that I stained the item. I didn’t stain the nightstand, I was charged for losing the TV remotes despite the cleaners not doing their job of fetching where the remotes is.I was charged a late checkout fee of which I explained to him prior to checking out which he agreed to. But then I had to wait almost an hour to checkin to the property. I’m not sure if this is a way he and the cleaner extorts customers but it feels like that to me.
