Great Apartment near NYC

I booked this guest apartment for my mother-in-law's recent visit to the area. She was here for 5 days with a friend. The location was perfect - less than 10 minutes from our home in Bloomfield and right next to a direct train line to NYC. She was able to get to NYC in under 30 minutes. The apartment was a nice quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. The apartment was very spacious and had a full working kitchen. The bedroom had a king size bed and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. There was a lovely outdoor space which we didn't get to use because of the cold weather but it looked like a lovely spot for morning coffee. I highly recommend the Montclair Apartments by Gracen and will most certainly use again for out of town guests.

The apartment was huge and so was the collection of kitchen utensils. Also loved the fact that we did have a washer and dryer.

The Best Kept Secret!

Selling my home in Montclair was an extremely emotional process. However, during that process we stayed at the Montclair Apartments by Gracen Properties -- which helped to make everything so much more tolerable. Love this place -- a place that is our new home away from home during visits. June -- the property manager -- is our angel. Until next time.

Great apartment experience in central Montclair.

Spacious option in excellent location, offering excellent value. Highly recommend. The only thing I would flag is that the mattress is on the firm side so, if, like me, you are a side sleeper, I would recommend investing in an inexpensive blanket to lay on top and provide additional cushioning.

Our Home Away From Home

I can't say enough about this property and about the property manager June. This is our third stay and each time we have had a different apartment and they all have been stunningly attractive and clean. And I just learned that June is the interior decorator -- I should have known as she is terrific! She is very responsive and attentive to the needs of her guests. We loved our stay at the Montclair Apartments by Gracen Properties in Montclair, NJ. Just beautiful and spacious. Would definitely stay here again. June was great to work regarding our stay. We were there for a conference with Tony Robbins. We had a very late check in and they accommodated us. 5 Star

This little apartment was perfect for a long weekend getaway. We had plenty of room to stretch out and get comfy. The kitchenette is well furnished and there were plenty of linens and towels too. NYC was easily reachable by bus. Ms June the property manager was available to help with anything we needed at any time. This place has my wholehearted recommendation.

Exceptional space, close to numerous restaurants, Welmont Theatre major entertainment venue, parks, in the great Montclair Township Community with close transportation to NYC. All in walking distance.

Next Time We Went Elsewhere in the Area

Please note, this is not a hotel, but a condo apparently owned by an outside person who then contracts with a service for property maintenance and rental. When we got the receptionst's attention to let us in the locked outer door, she had no idea who we were. Then we all figured out that the property manager had to be called. We called her, and she arrived by car 15 minutes later. Very nice, but this simply wasn't the kind of arrangement we were looking for. I don't think this kind of property should be listed on hotels.com, but that's just my opinion.
