The location is convenient. There's noise from the busy street but it's not overwhelming. The sleeping and working area has been renovated and is clean and modern, but the floors need a thorough mopping (my socks were almost black from walking on them) and the bathroom needs renovation. This motel is situated on the outskirts of the New Jersey town of Linden, about a 15 minute walk from the NJ Transit train station and by the side of a busy main road. The motel is dated, but my room was clean and there was a fridge, microwave and a fairly small TV. The room itself is tired, especially the bathroom, but I thought the price was reasonable for the accommodation provided. There is ample car parking available and the motel is situated next door to McDonalds. In the bathroom, the towels provided weren’t very big and they could do with being replaced with better quality, bigger towels for showering. The main downside to this motel was the traffic noise from the main road. Additionally, whilst the air conditioning was superb at cooling the room, it was very noisy. Positives included a very big, very comfortable bed. I found the motel to be great value for money and would stay here again if I needed to find cheaper, basic accommodation near Newark Airport and within fairly easy reach of New York.

Dirty room, dirty towels, dirty shower. Room is pretty much falling apart. Only thing good is the Linden Station is close by. No one hi or smile from the front desk.
