"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNACCEPTABLE. The service at both check-in and check-out was absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Extremely rude staff, zero courtesy, zero professionalism. I am a World of Hyatt member and stay at Hyatt properties frequently. I have NEVER been treated this badly. Not even close. This was by far the WORST experience I’ve had with the brand. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, completely unacceptable and we had to request a room change immediately. The elevators were dirty and clearly not well maintained. But the most shocking part? The HORRIBLE attitude of the staff. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. I will NOT be returning to Hyatt Grand Central New York. Ever."

"AC did not work, eyelash on pillow, and hair on shower wall. Elevator card reader faulty. The lobby fragrance is overwhelming after a day or two. But…i guess you get what you pay for. It is really central to tourist areas."
