We really enjoyed our time in the East Village at the New York Nook. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy and warm. We were there in December and the heat works really well. Right near plenty of stores, shops and restaurants. Our favorite was Tompkins Square Bagels! Would stay here again.

My family and I had a great time in this home. Centrally located to amazing food from all over the world. and close to all the New York must sees. Host was very responsive, check in was smooth and the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

Excellent Place!

This apartment is even better than the listings and pictures suggest. It’s a ground floor apartment that runs the entire depth of the building from the Street to the back. There’s a private outdoor space in back. Nice appliances including a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The linens are also very nice. And the location is terrific too, lots of stores and restaurants close by.

This was ideal for a family of four with older children. We do not like to share a single hotel, and this met all of our needs. We loved the accessibility of coming and going as we pleased, and it is ground floor so there are no long Elevator waits. The apartment was clean and adequately furnished. The neighborhood was quiet, and just a little off the beaten path to avoid the busy tourist areas. It felt like it was our own place in NYC. I would highly recommend this!!

Warm & Cozy

The vrbo was so warm and cozy! I loved how spacious and clean it was (perfect for a family or a large group traveling .) I would definitely stay again! This has a lot of bare necessities (e.g. soap, sponge, few rolls of toilet paper.) if you want more things/ are planning a longer stay, you will need to bring that on your own. They even have their own washer and dryer. There are plenty of stores and a target right across the street that makes buying stuff very convenient. We were able to make wonderful family memories here. Just as an fyi, this a ground unit vrbo. You can hear nosies on the street however, we never felt unsafe and it didn’t bother us too much. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and close to everything.

Convenient and Considerate

Impressive for overall cleanliness and order with a couple of small issues. Light sleepers should be aware of the heater hissing in one bedroom and the heater knocking in the other bedroom for a short time at night. Five minutes to the L subway to transfer anywhere. Very comfortable and spacious layout. Lots of closet and cupboard space with enough towels and paper products and soaps for a week. 2 spacious bathrooms and washer/dryer worked really well. Large sofa for family evenings that opens to a spacious bed. Communication was timely and helpful. The apt worked really well for us. Thank you!

This is a great location. Close to a subway entrance. Clean apartment. The only downside is that we only had hot water for half of our stay. The hot water stopped and it wasn’t fixed before we left.

The host very responsive. The location was absolutely perfect for what we were looking to do, close to the subway, lots of restaurants and shops around, however the house was tucked away from hustle and bustle. The amenities met our needs and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Apartment is very well set up. Has 2 seperate rooms so very good for 4 adults . Kitchen also has everything needed for the stay. 1st Avenue train station is 2 min walk , also you have all different cuisine restaurants on 2nd Avenue . If you want are comfortable taking trains to Manhattan, then this place is good to stay.
