The property was clean and well kept. Location perfect and safe. Literally next to a hospital. The front desk was friendly and always available. The location was perfect. We were so close the Arthur Ave Little Italy!! We went to Yankees game 20 minute Uber. Next door was a Healthy Fresh store open to 3 am!! Very safe area. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The hotel front desk staff was very helpful. A young gentleman checked us in and gave us advice about parking as we were illegally parked. The room itself was clean as was the lobby area. The shower was spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel is right next to St Barnabas hospital and ambulatory care, so it was a bit noisy though it is the city. The sidewalks and streets were dirty in the area, but we felt safe enough walking about a quarter of a mile to Little Italy.

The air conditioner smelled up the room, unfortunately. The shower was not throughly cleaned as there was hair on the walls and floors. Staff was friendly and helpful, but location was not great. Near Arthur Avenue but across the street from a hospital though we actually didn’t hear ambulances like we assumed we would. Public transit isn’t nearby so you need to use Uber if going anywhere.

Stayed here twice now for 8 days total, the hotel is always very clean, including the room, check-in area, breakfast nook, fitness room, and hallways. Staff have always been kind and so very helpful! The beds are comfortable, TV is big (and you can connect from your phone to stream), shower is spacious and Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided, there's free hot coffee 24/7, and the complimentary breakfast is also amazing-- juice, bagels, toast, muffins, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, yogurt... you name it. This hotel has provided such a comfortable and peaceful stay during my trips and for a very good price, too!
