The Glo Best Western Hotel, located on Southern Boulevard in the Bronx, NYC, is situated in a strategic location. I spent a night in the Hotel with my spouse and I liked it. This is the second time of complaining about the bathroom I used. It needs attention. Also, the mattress in the room where I stayed needs to be changed. I truly like the place and recommend it to everyone.

Based on my stay, I had a really great day. Location was right around my family‘s house so it was definitely convenient. Although only issue I have was the TV did not work at all. I’m grateful that I had my laptop with me to compensate for the TV not working not a big deal cause I didn’t stay in the room a lot just to rest but yes, room 105. I hope they fix the TV there. The next guest might not be so acceptable.

Great hotel, clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast in the mornings. Only thing I would note is that this place is ahead of the curve in the neighborhood’s renewal so we had to take uber everywhere and not walk around after dark very late (per the recommendation of a couple uber drivers too). Wasn’t a problem for our group but could be a hassle for others.

Well I waited approximately 20 minutes to check in , got a help gesture by the gentleman that check me , it took away from my usual appreciation of the hotel and staff, because I know proper etiquette and when you enter into a hotel you give the person that is checking you in a nice little provision no more than $20 but still I was unable to do that because I was waiting so long but other than that, he went outside to see if I can park in the back in the parking lot, which there was a space and that was convenient and once I checked into the room, I don’t know if the room was just clean, but the bathroom still smelled like a little pee and a room itself was comfortable. I had a good night rest, but I’ll give it two stars or maybe three out of five.

GLO BW in the Bronx had friendly and helpful staff! I hade the breakfast there one out of the four days I was there and it was good. They offered a variety. Eggs, bacon, veggie sausage, oatmeal, coffee, fruit, and of course waffles! The lady who was the attended was helpful and kind to everyone who came in. Restrooms on the 6th floor always had pee on the toilet seat, but other than that everything else was clean! The room was nice, shower had great water pressure, was clean, they provided shampoo/conditioner/soap was citrus and great! TV was big and you could log into your youtube/netflix accounts. Hotel is conveniently located by a grocery store and deli. 5-7 min walk from Freeman St. and Simpson St. subway stations!
