"Our Happy Place", Floating Home, Sleeps 10; 4 bed/1.5 bath

Come and enjoy "Our Happy Place" in a beautiful 30 x 64 ft floating cabin with 12 x 30 ft. front porch and 6 ft. back porch with 3 ft. walkway on each side. Attached is a deck that is 8 x 30 ft. with slide and full size picnic table.

The floating cabin is located on Norris Lake near New Tazewell, Tn. in the harbor of the Straight Creek Marina.

You can access the property with your own boat, or rent one from the marina.

People of all ages can enjoy boating, fishing and swimming.

You can fish off the front porch!

Lots of room to hang out, sleep, shower, and cook!

This floating home features 3 queen beds, 4 twin bunk beds, 1 full and 1 half bath.

Home is equipped with all the amenities you would desire in a home with washer and dryer, as well.

All day water fun with 4 kayaks, slide and floating water pad.

Sleeps 10 people with an open living room, dining room and kitchen.

Full size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, stove and a Keurig coffee maker.

TV in living room and in 3 of the 4 bedrooms.

Wireless internet is provided for your convenience.

Perfect place on the lake! From coffee in the morning on the porch to sitting out at night with friends, it was perfect! The kids loved the swim mat, slide, and kayaks! Owners were very nice and responded quickly to all questions! Will definitely plan to come back!

Amazing place, very very clean, it has everything you need and Jack the owner stopped by to make sure everything was okay, very nice gentleman. I would not hesitate to stay here, we were a family of 10, it was spacious and I can’t say enough about how clean and well maintained everything was. The pictures does not do this place justice at all you really have to see it in person. Thanks Jack, for sharing such an amazing place with our family.

Our Happy Place is a beautiful houseboat in a quiet marina that fit our family of 5 perfectly. From fishing to kayaking, boat tubing to jet skis, or just relaxing on the water, this place had all the water activities possible. Check in and out is very easy and the home is kept in impeccable condition. We can’t wait to come back!

Great comfortable stay!
Very clean and comfortable house. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Marina staff are super friendly, However the neighbors will call on you for using any foul language. House has everything you need but could use more bath towels as there were only 5 towels and 8 people, so we had to use our beach towels. Shower is amazing and beds were comfortable. Very nice deck with pull down shades. Wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing your lake house with us!

Great place!
The floating house was a great place for our family vacation. Our grandsons 6&9 loved the slide. It was our first time on Norris and enjoyed everything about it. Jack’s response to messages was quick. The house had everything you needed plus more. Derek and everyone at the marina were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to this beautiful area.

Paradise in Norris Lake
The floating boat house is in a wonderful location and has everything you need for a peaceful get away on beautiful Norris lake. The owners do a wonderful job decorating and providing a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Very clean and comfortable. We rented a pontoon from Straight Creek Marina and they were very nice and accommodating as well. We absolutely loved our time at “Our Happy Place”

Very nice house with all accommodations needed and more. Very ample dock for lounging and multiple boat mooring Inside space very nice and cool. Four kayaks and all the floats you need. Good location in marina and caught lots of nice fish off the front porch. Contact with owner was enjoyable and response almost immediate when called hope to be back ine the fall
