"Excellent overnight stay. Neat Japanese-style room, good WiFi, great little bathtub and shower. The Japanese breakfast included in room rate was superb. The location on the edge of Jioufen might be a problem if you find yourself carrying luggage up the steps from the bus stop, otherwise it’s nice and quiet. But it was tricky to find. We didn’t anticipate any problems as we weren’t given any specific instructions. Definitely something that could be improved upon."

Do note that if you are driving, the parking lot is about 10-min walk. The staff can help you carry the luggage on motorcycle, but you have to walk. Overall, very good experience."

"This villa is on top of the Lala Mountains, the weather n scenery is superb. U can see the fog or clouds dancing on top of the mountains in the morning. We were served the aboriginal breakfast, something we have not taken before; quite interesting. Ooh.. there is no staff overnight, do remember to call them if u are checking in late. I think there go off off around 7pm. There is a 711 below ( not too far). "

"A little rough around the edges, but I had a good stay overall. Be aware there is no heat in the building, but a quality mattress heater is provided so I slept quite well, but… Was cold at all other times. If your clothes get wet in the Juifen rain, they won’t dry in the room on their own so use the hair dryer for some help 😉 The bed was comfortable, and the dehumidifier was much appreciated. "This is a very beautiful B&B. It is in a prime location. Very close to bus stop. Right in the heart of Juifen old street. Looks beautiful. Lot of tourist take pictures in front of this B&B. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. My kids loved their stay here. They even gave us free breakfast for four. If I travel to Taiwan again will definitely go to Juifen and stay here again."
