Love this historic hotel. Room was nicely updated since the last time I was here. Sorry the pub didn't survive covid. Would like the room to have a microwave and fridge. Or at least a fridge with a microwave available. Coffee in the morning was promised, but it looked like they made one pot and by the time I got there only a little was left and there was no way to heat it up. The decor is really fun, and it has a reputation for being haunted if you are into that. Room was comfortable and quiet. Excellent antique furniture in the room, worth staying for the atmosphere.

Hotel is quaint-room was clean bathroom all worked.instead of being a chic boutique inn this gave off the vibe of a tired out of date hotel. Staff is thin, restaurant is permanently closed- after 8pm, the doors are locked and one needs a key to get in the door. Parking is shared with the town, it could be problematic. The hotel would be a great candidate to be converted into some modern condos.

The property was awesome! Room was stunning and everything is pretty close by. The Manager called us and let us know we would need to self check in which was super easy but we never saw anyone and checked out on our own. I even had to grab my folio myself after looking through papers behind the reception desk. It was really awkward. Other than that we would stay again and again!

Received phone call to check in early because the check in lady wanted to go home. Doors locked at 3:00 pm, so we needed to unlock doors and retrieve to the other block to enter. Could not get t.v. to work first night and we had to use our own network. No tavern or restaurant as advertised on internet. Second night, there was no internet or t.v. and no one was there to explain what the issue was. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because the manager did not care. We did not feel safe at this place. The rest of Millersburg was very welcoming.

great place to stay while touring amish area
great old hotel. being that it is old the rooms are small. Next time will go for the queen deluxe for more room and a frig and microwave. All staff very friendly. Rooms and hotel clean. Walking distance to 3 restaurants. 10 min form Berlin which has much more to do. But berlin didnt seem to have any restaurants open later in the evening. Hotel Berlin had common areas to sit and catch up with friends and have cocktails and apps. It was very relaxing.

This is a unique old downtown hotel and the interior furnishings are clean and interesting. This area is safe for walking. The hotels restaurant is not operational right now. I will stay again next year as long as the price is competitive with the surrounding chain hotels. The romm I rented is not the room in the photos.

Excellent Stay!
Really enjoyed our stay. It was a unique experience staying at the longest continuous running hotel in Ohio. The rooms were old, traditional style, super clean and in great condition. Being in the middle of downtown can lend itself to traffic noise, but the Air Conditioner fan seemed to drown out most of it and I slept well. A lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby!

This ranks among the worst hotel stays in my travels. The place was dirty, the furnishings were closer to thrift store finds than antiques. The bed was so uncomfortable I had a backache the next day. The 'manager' was not in the least helpful or available. No cable tv and the internet was spotty at best. Epic fail!

Millersburg hotel was interesting
When we arrived after 8pm the front desk had left us with a code to get our key out of the lock box. That went smoothly. But after driving 11 hours to get there. It would have been nice to advise that a teeny little lot was out back of hotel. That kinda sucked trying to figure it out. As it’s in a Bank parking lot and nothing listed in the lot as hotel parking. So after circling aimlessly we saw a small sign that said hotel parking. We tried to enter around back through the taverns entrance, but to our disappointment not an option. So park out back lug all your luggage and personal belongings to the front, yep the front of the hotel. Ok So finally we enter this hotel like from the movie “The shining” it was a creepy yet very cool little look to it. There is an elevator that leads to even more of an old moldy/musky smell but hey it’s really old. So come with the expectations **Now one thing they don’t put in the brochure or online. Is there is not any cable and very splotchy internet service. If you don’t have streaming service like Hulu or Netflix then you will not be able to watch the Laptop size 12-14” tv screen. We did but hell it was easier to watch our phone screen. For the cleanliness the bathtub super small was clean, the bedding not so much stains on sheets and sheet protector. Clean but stained. The ac worked but didn’t cool very well as a window ac unit. Overall 2 stars the Tavern tho amazing great food and service 5 stars. Check out easy.

This hotel has comfortable beds and clean rooms. However, the internet is terrible. They do not have cable tv. They use a Roku stream. At first it wouldn't work at all, then only sporadically. What you need to be the most aware of though is that the traffic noise is unbelievably loud. I didn't think this would be a problem since I use earplugs and we bring a white noise machine, but they did nothing to dull the noise of tractor trailer trucks, dump trucks, lots of ordinary trucks with loud mufflers and even several emergency vehicle sirens.

Beautiful Historical Hotel
The place is beautiful. We really stayed here because of the location, we were interested in going to the brewery and hitting the shops so everything was in walking distance and a short drive to Berlin. We ate a couple of meals in the Tavern and it was good as well.

Noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s right by the main road and you hear semi trucks passing and Jake braking all night long. Since it was off season most rooms were empty so I asked to be moved to a quieter room and the attendant told me that all rooms were noisy and that’s just how it is. Our room was directly facing the road with two large windows. I cannot imagine that an inside room wouldn’t have been at least a bit quieter. It was three miserable nights. I cannot recommend this facility.

We've stayed at the Hotel Millersburg several times and love the location and old feel to this historic property. The rooms/beds are decent however lack the amenities of more modern hotels (i.e. refrigerator, safe etc. in most rooms). The front desk staff is always nice and we enjoying going to this location. Its our go-to when visiting Amish country. We also love the Hotel Millersburg for its haunted history and ghost stories.

Great stay but inattentive waitress
No issues at all. I think the only thing that I can think of as a negative was the waitress that I had Saturday night. She only took my order, gave me my food and never came back to check on me or the food for that matter. She came only when she saw my plate was empty and then gave me the bill almost to rush me out. The tavern closes at 9 PM and I was there from about 7 PM to 8 PM, so it wasn't near closing time.

Quaint, quirky, right downtown in beautiful historic Millersburg. So much character. Huge rooms, and delicious breakfast. Pick this one if you don’t want boring. This is no cookie cutter hotel.

Have come to find that as much as i love this place the rooms are hit or miss. First room we had was great. Comfortable bed, nicely laid out room & space, nice large sink area, extra blanket. Room was missing the remote to the tv. Called down (that was a strughle because the paper has the hotel phone number versus just press 0). Took a shower, put on my bathrobe and my husband called down. Instead of getting a remote, they had us switch rooms. Much smaller room, dresser on the left side of the bed didn't leave me much room so each time i got up to use the bathroom i cracked my left leg on the dresser. Bed was memory foam & very uncomfortable (WAS AWFUL, back is still sore), view from our window was of a brick wall, couldn't get to plugs to plug in my phone, head board was REALLY loose so that was noisey, and even though my husband had a hot shower the next morning mine was a hotter warm shower, no extra blanket (so my husband went and got the one from the first room) Second was also not nearly as nice as the first one. The owner needs to invest a little money on small repairs (the broken mini-blinds in the 1st room & chipping paint in the bathroom; fix the head board in the second room as well as replacing the comforter and a smaller table that leaves more room between the bed & dresser). There also needs to be consistency in rooms. Its like there needs to be a check list so that each room has the same things.

A nice historic hotel. Now the service was very friendly. The rooms were not as historic as you thought and they didn't match the pictures that were on the sight. The pictures looked really nice then the rooms looked just ok. Now when I was checking out i thought the woman working the desk was a guest. She had on her PJs and slippers. Now on the up side she was very friendly and helpful hope there's more people that friendly and helpful like her. Now a vintage dress or outfit would look cool in a hotel like that . Maybe Dickens Christmas Caroling. Just some ideas.
