Valentine’s Day Weekend
My wife and I stayed here for one night. We stayed in suite 5. We absolutely loved our stay. So very clean and nice. Every detail was thought of... complimentary maple roll, coffee, tea, popcorn, juice, box of chocolates, loaf of bread and jam provided! We really enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace. We will definitely be back for our next stay in Amish country!

Expedia states it included a full breakfast and it was a continental one. Also, it was unclear which suite had the outdoor whirlpool, so I selected the wrong suite. I recommend updating descriptions of the suites and breakfast. In addition, I would include more tv channels and better movies. Outside of those things, we had an amazing time and suite 1 was beautiful.

This was exactly what I was looking for...a place that felt like home with an exceptional view. It was peaceful to wake up in the morning to the breakfast provided and watch the horses playing. The room was clean. Friendly staff while checking in. It was a warm and cozy stay in a rural environment and I would easily stay again.

The suite we stayed in was great. Big jacuzzi, nice kitchen stocked with a few drinks and snacks. The fireplace was warm and cozy. So very quiet location too. Over top rated.

Wonderful, homey, cozy place to stay. My friends and I stayed in Suite #3 - it was beautiful. Very roomy, clean, tastefully decorated, lot's of homey touches such as the maple cinnamon rolls, freshly baked bread, homemade strawberry jam, assorted juice, coffee and tea that awaited us when we arrived. The views are fantastic and it is very peaceful both day and night. I would highly recommend Holmes with a View to anyone wanting to stay in Ohio's incredible Holmes County.

Absolutely beautiful! Super clean, peaceful & comfortable. Loved the layout.... with open, well equipped kitchen, dining & livingroom with views of countryside and the privacy of two separate lovely bedroom suites. We enjoyed our morning coffee and maple rolls out on the deck. Everyone was very sweet & helpful. We will definitely keep this place in mind when planning our next getaway!

Both my wife and I were very pleased with the size of the rooms and the condition of the facility. You felt like you were staying in a very nice and roomy apartment with a view. Everything was operational with instructions. We thought it was going to be a little out of the way to drive, but it was just a short jaunt from the shops in Berlin and the little drive distance was pleasant.

Good place to kick bs k and relax
Had enjoyable time. Only draw back is we were on lower level and constantly heard people above us walking all hours of the night and then first thing in the morning. Did take away from the experience. S3cond time we stayed here and this happened. Would only recommend taking room on upper level

Beautiful Setting!
We were pleasantly surprised to find this place surrounded by Amish farms. Once you turn off the main road, you drive a very steep & winding road to the place. The view is stunning & the suites are beautiful. We stayed in #2 for Valentine's Day & were greeted with Amish made bread, jam & a box of Coblentz chocolates. The suite was sparkling clean & comfortable. They provided all the comforts of home. We enjoyed seeing the cows across the field in the morning. If you're looking for a quiet & relaxing getaway, this is your place.

Stunning views with all the modern conveniences
We've been to Holmes with a View six or seven times - we've lost count, but we always come back for the incredible views, beautiful accommodations, and unbelievable peace there. We stayed in Suite 3 this time (center house, top floor), and this one is definitely our favorite. It's private, it has stunning scenery, and it's very quiet. The fireplace is so warm and cozy, and the furniture is positioned so that you can sit around the fire and talk, plus still see the rolling hills outside (we also watched the children from the neighboring Amish farm laugh and sled down the hills one morning - so adorable). There is a full kitchen with gas stove/oven, full size fridge and peninsula, plus there is a family style table if you prefer to eat there. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and so well-decorated. Each has an en suite bathroom. We absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back yet again.

Beautiful location and a quiet convenient place to stay. Small road was easy to miss the first time and mobile signals not great in the area so print directions before you go. Really enjoyed the property. Wish we jad stayed longer.

Simply wonderful
We had a late check in (I called to arrange) and it went smoothly. The place is immaculate. Beautiful simple decor. Kitchens include everything you could possibly need. Extras of all linens included. The breakfast included was great. Homemade bread and cinnamon rolls, jam and butter, yogurt, juice and assortment of coffee and tea. Our experience was wonderful and we will definitely return. Next time maybe with the kids.

Was not happy, Will not be back!
Floors dirty, my socks were brown from a day of walking around the wooden floors. Shower had no pressure only if you wanted to burn yourself. Towels were stiff and hard. Staff/ owner was rude. Told my husband he could smoke on property and to smoke in the road if he wanted to smoke. Not a real breakfast: a loaf of bread and yogurt???? really. I am staying at a amish home that amish owns. And a loaf of bread and a yogurt. Thermostat was upstairs, and we couldn't adjust the air, it was so hot. Will never return there

Gorgeous Getaway
Everything was perfect! We stayed in Suite 1, and there was nothing lacking. From the welcoming check in to the last goodbye, every moment was wonderful. The view from the wrap around deck was so beautiful and peaceful. We watched the sun rise each morning and the fireflies flickering each evening. We took 3 mi. evening walks each day to enjoy the countryside. We enjoyed friendly waves from passing buggies and neighbors working or sitting outside. The homemade cinnamon rolls and fresh baked bread with jam were a delicious treat. We hope to return again next year!

This is the "BEST" place we have ever stayed in Holmes County. WE WILL BE BACK!! Excellent location, picturesque view, and great very friendly. The houses are very well equipped for a short or long stay. I wish we had been able to stay longer. The breakfast is just right if you have been feasting on the Amish buffets in the area. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is excellent. Very easy to unload and load your vehicle. This will be our new "only place to stay" in Holmes County!!

Get together with friends.
Was perfect place for get together with friends. We were able to get in early as it was raining and the guys could not play golf as planned. Was very clean and they thought of every small thing that we might need. We have already decided that we will meet there next spring. If you want a nice place in Amish country that has everything you could want this is the place.

Great location and the houses themselves are great with tons of windows. The AC broke the morning before we came in, but the host made it the best she could (brought us a portable AC). Beds were very comfortable and the whirlpool tub was great as well.

Right in the heart of Amish country
Lovely cabin, clean, comfortable, beautiful view. Woke up to the clip clip of horse and buggies passing by. Close to shops, wineries, furniture stores and farms. Lot's of home made goodies for breakfast. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this for a relaxing getaway.

Everyone seems to love this place as it is so quiet and in the middle of nowhere. There are a few oddities. For a B&B, you only see the host once when you check in and then never go back to the main house. You stay in a suite. We had a bottom level one (room 2) and could hear everything upstairs...their TV, their jacuzzi, their walking, their...you know. One of our lights did not work and kept flashing so we turned it off. While many things in the room appear to be Amish or antique, there were some drawbacks where I would not expect someone to cut back at this price point. The towels were not plush and actually rough. The shower was tiny and never got hot hot (but the tub did). The TP was cheap 1 ply. FYI, bed is very firm. The oddest thing though is the driveways. In summer, no issues, but you park on quite an incline and they are very steep and overlap from unit to unit. In the winter, my 4WD SUV handled it but I could see many folks getting stuck. Overall, a little overpriced for the experience but relaxing nonetheless. I think next trip we will stay somewhere else.

Wonderful respite from the real world
We've stayed in Holmes County many times but this was our first time at Holmes with a View. I can assure you that it will not be our last! The accommodations are truly wonderful! The suites are situated on a hillside with beautiful views from both the deck as well as inside the rooms through the many large windows. You check in at a house a few doors down from the buildings where the suites are located and then have complete privacy for the rest of your stay. Our room had a full kitchen, living area with fireplace, bedroom area with a large whirlpool tub and separate bathroom with a standing shower. We couldn't have asked for more! It is very well located near Charm with easy access to all of Holmes County. I can't wait to return!
