The front office staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the bartender, Chelsea is great and makes a very delicious margarita! The Mercantile Inn is in the middle of all of the action and nightlife. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Great stay but one of our rooms was dusty and had a broken shower. My room also didn't have the free soap come out the dispenser. But the staff were amazing, especially Zion. The rooms were also very spacious and the hotel was perfect walking distance from all our excursions.

Amazing hotel, every part of it. Beautiful architecture, central location. The suite was classy and extremely spacious for the price I paid, even during Mardi Gras! Staff was wonderful and accommodating and always willing to have a friendly chat. The breakfast was top-notch, thanks to chef Barry! Whenever I visit New Orleans, this is where I plan to stay every time.
