For a motel, this is really not a bad area or building at all. I felt safe in the room was decent. Obviously this is not a five star hotel but it definitely gets the job done.

Hotell is a bit worn down and needs an update and refreshing. Beds were comfortable. Pool area was usable but not very inviting. I believe the booking said breakfast included but there was a small muffin in a rapper. That was literally it! Shouldn't be allowed to sell accommodations with breakfast included and serv literally nothing.

This hotel was cute and privately owned. I appreciated that they kept their prices the same for the weekend Taylor Swift was in town for her tour instead of price gouging. They even made sure to keep an extra room open for fans in case someone was desperate and needed a room. Such genuine caring people running this hotel and they are doing a wonderful job. It was quiet and rooms were clean. I have no complaints for this stay.

Location is very dated, but room was decently average for the rate. A/C was cold once we got it going but room was quite stale on arrival and the faint odor of cigarette despite being a non smoking room. Curtains were wrong size so no way to block out light to sleep in. Shower curtain wrong size so bathroom flooded every shower. Towels were mismatch of size and quality. Mattress was decent, sheet had a burn hole. We travel with pillows so can’t say much about those. Blankets were okay. Television left a lot to be desired. Pretty small by today’s standards and quality of the directv provider was pretty bad. Many channels were very hazy or choppy. Not a lot of channel options. Overall for the value and proximity to New Orleans happenings, via a rental car, was good. Not busy at all so not a lot of noise outside and around. Don’t check out the pool so no comment. No other amenities.

Staying at the locally owned motel in my hometown was a delightful experience. The organic soaps and shampoo were my favorite and the waterfront views were stunning. The presence of real slot machines next door and the availability of non-ethanol gas and Celsius energy drinks at the nearby gas station were unexpected bonuses. The motel's proximity to Chalmette Battlefield, Sidney Torres Park, 40 Arpent Wetlands Observatory was convenient, and spotting an alligator swimming behind the property was a memorable highlight. The area felt very private and safe, enhancing the overall stay. A restaurant on the property would be nice especially one that served organic and vegan food.

We aren’t horribly picky about where we stay (clean and safe are the top priorities- outdated but still clean and safe doesn’t sway us). This place fit the bill. However, upon arrival we were given a back alley smoking room (in tow with little kids and not told the key was to a smoking toom). We then called from that room and had to lug our kids and everything else back to the main office with no offer of help… got a room on the more scenic marina side and non- smoking. Room still wasn’t tbat clean but was workable - we went to Walmart and grabbed Lysol wipes/cleaned it up ourselves. Covered the couch with 2 bed sheets. Really, not that big of a deal coulda looked passed it. Next day, my kids are begging to go to the pool (part of the reason we picked here) and the pool was FILTHY black and debris. I asked why that was… “to keep people out when the water is cold”. It was 70-75 and zero rain while there. NEXT DAY it was being cleaned and chemicals put in (and all of a sudden signs up to not use the pool instead of the filth give away “sign”). Yawn… started getting old… we left before the pool was ever available. PROS: Definitely a safe location, quiet nightsfor the kids but close to NOLA with a rental car. After we did our own initial cleaning, the housekeeping did come and vaccuum/ give us new items anytime we asked and were very kind ( to be fair to them they weren’t around when we arrived). The Marina is cute and quante. We went out each AM and nights when back early.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The people were so nice, even when my kids were probably annoying the heck out of them. It was quiet. They have a dock outside right by the hotel my kids enjoyed fishing off of which got them out of the room. The view was stunning. My kids loved the pool. I have no complaints about this hotel and I WILL be staying here again.

It’s gets the job done at an affordable rate. Rooms are a little outdated, main door wouldn’t shut correctly, had to life in order to shut, few Cobb webs around the room, cleanliness was a little iffy. But if you want to rest at an affordable price, this is the place. Staff was polite and helpful.
