Clean rooms, decent service, paid parking, and a breakfast with limited options—though it gets the job done. The hotel's highlight is its location: very close to Bourbon Street, yet away from all the chaos. There are several excellent coffee shops on the same street, and it’s also close to bus and streetcar stops. I would easily stay here again.

For this price, it's hard to find a pool and a fitness center elsewhere. For walkers who want to go in multiple directions, this hotel is well positioned between the French Quarter, the River Walk with steam boat cruises, Convention Center/Audubon Aquarium, and Casinos. The hotel isn't oozing the typical historical French Quarter vintage charm but it does have New Orleans decor touches that are very pleasing nonetheless. It's very good for those of us who want to walk to the French Quarter in just a few minutes but like larger, modern standard-size rooms without "quaint" surprises like single pane windows (too hot or cold, depending on the weather outside) and irregularities like problems with water pressure. In other words, very comfortable and well-located.

Very comfortable stay. Nice breakfast in the morning from 6 to 9 am on weekdays with eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, muffin, yogurt, bagels and oranges. Centrally located close to the French quarter and the Convention Ctr. Of note, you have to ask for housekeeping services a day before - it's not automatic. Good value for the cost.
