Loved the furnishings and the beds were super comfy. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and came equipped with so many thoughtful items: coffee, soft drinks, waters, paper towels and wonderful (& plentiful) towels. Most of all we loved the balcony! Such a cozy place to have morning coffee or end an evening with a glass of wine. The location was ideal for visitors — very close to Canal Street to catch the trolleys, very close to the Riverwalk (along the river) & a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter. Great restaurants & bars nearby, too. All-in-all, a perfect vacation getaway. I will absolutely stay there again and highly recommend The Ponchartrain! ##### Susan G. Fully stocked with anything we could need and a very sweet welcome basket. The balcony was perfect! A little wine, music and great company was exactly what I was envisioning when I booked. The beds are a little firm, but we still slept just fine. The team was easily reachable with seamless check in and check out. The property was clean, felt safe, and welcoming. I loved sitting out on the balcony and seeing the parades and people coming by. There is some noise from the street as you are in the city but I was already aware that I was staying in the city and would hear dumpsters being lifted. We especially appreciated the spacious living room for hanging out and planning our day. The unit was very clean. We were within walking distance to several popular spots but did use Uber a bit (never waited more than a few minutes for pickup).
