Stylish, comfortable and fully equipped
As previous reviews have stated, Deborah and Clive have created a perfect retreat. Welcome supplies of cake, milk and hot drink ingredients; also a personal favourite of house and fashion magazines to browse through ☺️ Very comfortable furnishings and stylish lighting. Lovely warm and quiet surroundings. We stayed two nights and didn’t use our car whilst there. Fabulous meals at the Cliff house and Pebble Beach. Coastal walk to Milford on Sea which took an hour and fifteen minutes. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Perfect!
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the beautiful Hut 42. Everything we could have needed was provided including a cake and wine! Super location-minutes from the beach and the lovely Beechcomber cafe with sea views. Within easy reach of Christchurch and Mudeford Quay which we visited. Hut 42 was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Thank you Deborah and Clive

We love Hut 42
Hut 42 is the perfect, private accommodation for a couple. We had a very comfortable stay with all the amenities needed for our 2 night break. The beach and clifftop walks are about a 5 minute stroll away. So is The Beachcomber where I can recommend a great cooked brekkie, great for lunch overlooking the Isle of Wight or dinner in the evening. Thank you to Deborah and Clive for being such lovely hosts.

Absolutely Perfect
Upon opening the door of hut 42, we realised that the pictures we had seen just didn't do just to such an absolutely wonderful and beautiful designed place to stay. Our hosts were absolutely gems. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Although dogs are not allowed, you can understand why due to the highest standards and the elegance of the huts furnishings. Deborah was extremely welcoming. I can't praise her enough in answering questions both prior to our stay and also during it. The cake, wine and cookies where of excellent taste. Their was teabags, coffee, sugar, even hot chocolate and with a air sealed mason storage jar was mini marshmallows to go with the chocolate. A litre bottle of milk was also awaiting us. With the hut so close to lidl, its at the top of the street we were able to buy groceries and at the bottom of the street was the beach plus the beachcombers restaurant, next to that was a shop selling beautiful tasting ice cream. What more could you possibly want. A fantastic place to stay, with delightful hosts and a location extremely close to amenities. Many thanks to our hosts for providing a home from home that had 100% cleanliness. Also provided were wonderful shower, shampoo, conditioner within the shower cubicle but beware these are made of glass and extremely heavy. The liquid lemon smelling hand wash provided was divine. 10 out of 10, plus 5 gold stars rating. I definitely recommend staying there without any hesitation.

Charming comfort
Really beautifully created annex. Very comfortable, very quiet, friendly and accommodating hosts. Wonderfully clean and spacious bathroom, the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and there was private outside space that was great for enjoying the last rays of sun in the evening. Would highly recommend and go again.

Lovely, bright, quiet, cosy
This hut is a perfect spot to stay next the sea for a few days. It's comfortable and well equipped, with thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and plenty of other staples to help make this feel like a home from home. It's exceptionally peaceful and quiet at night for a great night's sleep, the hut has been done up to a great standard and we had a great stay. It's in striking distance to Dorset, the New Forest, the Isle of Wight and is well located in a very peaceful village with a nice high street just up the road. We'd happily stay again next time we were in the area.

A lovely getaway…
Hut 42 is the perfect getaway with everything you need for unwinding and relaxing. Great central location and helpful hosts. Recommend the Cliff House for a beautiful meal.

Relaxing stay
What a find! Lovely annexe, decorated very tastefully to a high standard. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Hit has everything you might need for a short or longer stay. Beach and 2/3 eating places very near walking distance, so lovely not to think about driving. Highly recommend this property! Thank you 😊

Weekend Hideaway
Hut 42 is very comfortable and superbly decorated. Would definitely book again. Just a suggestion - t'here are a couple of items that would be handy, having said that they might have been there but we didn't find them> a couple of placemats for the dining table, a cooking dish and an oven glove for the microwave and a dish cloth. Everything else was super - a fantastic spot from which to tour the New Forest. Would recommend Bucklers Hard but beware the pub - lovely but a tad expensive.

Perfect getaway
Amazing little hide away. Hosts went over and above to make us comfortable and even keep us safe from the storm. Everything we needed was already there making packing a lot simpler. Even the little treats Deborah left us were just perfect. Location was private yet really easy to get to the beach. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very relaxing
The property was very chic , spotlessly clean, and very welcoming. 5minute walk to the beach. Bus stop outside hut 42 if you wish to leave your car at home, to take you to other local towns. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay
We found Hut 42 to be extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, the beach is within a short walking distance, as is The Beachcomber restaurant, perched on top of the cliff with outstanding views of the Isle of Wight. Hut 42 was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we wanted! We were very fortunate to have fantastic weather and appreciated the cooling fan that was provided. We also particularly liked the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for our use. Deborah was great to communicate with and we want to thank her for the unexpected goodies that she left for us. We both enjoyed the wine and delicious cake, along with the other essentials:) A lot of thought has gone into making Hut 42 a lovely stay, everything you need is provided, just pack your clothes and Suncream!! We will definitely return.

Brilliant short break in a fab chilled place!
We had a fantastic three night stay at Hutt 42! It is stunning inside - lots of attention to detail and thoughtfulness, a really chilled space that has its own private garden. Deborah, the hostess is really friendly and helpful without being intrusive in anyway at all. Supplied us with a fan as the weather had turned very hot. Also, very generous welcome pack of goodies! With just a five minute stroll to the lovely beach, and 10 to 12 minutes to Aldi and the chippy – what more could you ask? I would recommend Hutt 42 very highly.

Best Yet!
We have had quite a few weekend getaways in some excellent accommodation but must say, for our tastes, Hut 42 took things to a new level. The accommodation and lovely garden is very private, beautifully finished and equipped. Deborah and Clive are fabulous hosts and thank you both so very much for the provisions in the fridge, the lovely cake and fabulous wine, all so very thoughtful. The five minute walk to the sea front, and also to the restaurants and bars, and the town very nearby, makes this a perfect retreat. Plenty of good walks and food. Absolutely recommend.

Lovely spacious studio with private garden
This is a suprizingly spacious and very comfortable studio in the grounds of a large house. A great deal of thought has been put into the interior design and the furniture, fixtures and fittings. It was well equipped too. Deborah the host made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed walking to the coast from the door and it was just a short drive into the New Forest. So a good location as well.

Beautiful accommodation must visit
On entering this property we was immediately delighted on how spacious and well decorated it was. The attention to detail was amazing with lots of quirky features such as the hanging chair, lots of soft lighting, the gallery corner by the dinner table. The bedroom and bathroom was well thought through and stunning. The welcome pack on arrival was very helpful and considerate, as too was the bread, milk,wine and delicious lemon cake which I’m not going to lie we took the rest home 😁. There was spacious parking and our entrance to the hut was a lovely path that was lit up. Another nice touch we thought was a hand written welcome board. We would really recommend this place and would definitely visit again 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Deborah
