This is a great location to at: you are on the main road, there is a gas station on the corner of one of the roads to the hotel, and everyone was kind and helpful. I would stay here again so I wouldn't have to deal with the traffic in Appleton.

The front desk was very helpful with allowing us to check in early after rain stopped our regular plans. The breakfast was varied with hot and cold items, waffle maker, toaster, and microwave. The inside of the facilities need updating. The hot tub did not work, didn't have a clean-smooth bottom, (breaks in the concrete?), and above the water line was dirty. The pool was a bit better, but is in need of repairs. The workout room was 'out of order'.

6/10 Okay

The halls and elevators were dirty, our room reeked of smoke, and there was only nightstand next to our bed, so my wife had no nightstand on her side. Also, we only had three pillows rather than two for each of us, and the pillows were thin and flat. We did like the renovated bathroom and thought the breakfast offerings were good.

The room was fairly simple, but it worked well for what I needed. It was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the hot tub was properly heated, and the pool was nice and warm. The included breakfast offered a modest variety and was a convenient bonus.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. Check-in took about 45 minutes, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. While the front desk staff was friendly and did their best, the wait was much longer than expected. The front lobby was clean and made a good first impression, but the room itself did not. The carpets appeared dirty, and the room had a strong musty smell that made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Considering the price, I expected a much better experience. I appreciated the courteous staff and clean lobby, but overall I didn’t feel this hotel offered good value for the cost.

Room was nice and more spacious than I expected . Really only one minor complaint, the room kept deactivating/malfunctioning so I had to go front desk a few times to get it activated again. Pool was adequate for our one night stay. Missed out on the breakfast because we were turkey hunting and out of the hotel during breakfast hours.
