This property is across the street from the world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, walking distance to historic downtown New Braunfels shops, restaurants and nightlife, 10 minutes to historic Gruene shops, restaurants, Gruene Hall and central to the Texas Hill Country. The covered balcony overlooks beautiful trees and a partial view of the river and the fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer makes you feel at home. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Comal River from the expansive outdoor deck and lawn, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and large swimming pool. Try out your grilling skills on one of several bbq pits overlooking the river. Most of the local tubing outfitters offer pick up service in front of Schlitterbahn(a five minute walk) to take you to the beginning of the river tubing route where you can rent a tube and will pick you up from the last tubers exit just a 5-10 minute walk down W.Lincoln St. Many guests enjoy throwing a tube in the river, anchoring to the bank and just floating in front of the Inverness property to keep cool or just enjoying the swimming pool over looking the river. Or you can access the private river access on the property for a relaxing one hour float, get out at the last tubers exit and walk back (5-10 minutes) to Inverness. This fabulous condo is your perfect escape and home away from home to enjoy all of the year round festivals and events in New Braunfels and the surrounding Hill Country. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, TWO ADULT TUBES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS USE DURING THEIR STAY and wristbands(one per registered guest, including children, are required to be worn at all times on property and will be provided upon check in.). AN ELECTRIC TUBE INFLATOR will also be available for inflating additional tubes. It is in the top left red wicker drawer in the living room. The host is amazing and super helpful with any questions we had. The best thing about this place was the rooms were blacked out so we had the opportunity to sleep in. We loved it ❤️ ##### Rachel T. The condo was in the perfect location. We were able to go to Schlitterbahn and walk to and from the condo. The kids also loved swimming in the pool overlooking the Comal. We used our own floats (and the ones provided) to float from the condo to the last exit on the Comal which was about 40 minutes. We also drove up to the beginning of the Comal and did the full float. We were able to jump right out at the condo. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely be back!!! ##### Sara B. My kids loved the private access to the river and swimming pool. Me not so much because of the stairs you have to take to get to them (I have a bad hip) My husband loved the location of the bbq pit area overlooking the River and being able o keep an eye on the kids (teenagers). We have a 5 and 6 year old that we didn’t take on this trip and we are very glad we didn’t as I don’t think the other condo owners would like their loudness lol. But like I said overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. ##### Antonio S. There were not any blankets. Very small. Does not fit 4 adults. The security guard on property was unprofessional. He told us we did not need to wear our bands, he just needs to see them. We had them with us at all times. One night my son who is a 30 year old engineer and I were sitting out by the river. We were the only ones out there. We showed him our bands. I went to restroom came back down and asked to see our bands again. It was constant harassment like that. The last day there we wore our bands as it was the last day and knew we wouldn’t have to worry about losing in the water. He decided to call police and have us escorted out.for trespassing We have pictures with our bands on. HOA and him working together is an awful mix. There is not more to this story. The police spoke to our attorney and could not even tell them why we were being asked to leave. My husband and I are 62 we own 2 condos in Galveston and i am a business owner. My husband is an executive and our son is an engineer from Colorado school of mines with an MBA.
