The Wimberley Log Cabins Resort and Suites is a beautiful tree-lined property great for wedding parties, corporate retreats, or family reunions. It is made up of four separate structures. Building One is the Texas Cabin Suites with an enclosed privacy hall containing four motel style rooms. Each of these rooms has a king size bed and kitchenettes. Building Two -- The Lone Star Cabin Suites-- feature four additional motel style rooms. with queen size beds in each. Two sizable houses also dot the property; the Oak Lodge and the Reunion Cabin.
The Wimberley Log Cabins Resort and Suites is conveniently located right off the main road running through Wimberley minutes from our historic square. It is surrounded by trees, shared outdoor space, and natural landscaping. The newly installed shared pool also adds to the communal nature of the property.
The Oak Lodge is a great space for accommodating your large group. It offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. The massive living room has plenty of seating around a gorgeous decorative fireplace. The roomy kitchen has stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space for communal cooking, and is open to the living and dining room. One bedroom has a cushy four poster king size bed, three big windows to let in all the natural light and gorgeous Saltillo tile. The ensuite bathroom has sauna style wood paneling and walk in shower. The second bedroom has two wonderful queen beds, views of the outside, and cool to the touch Saltillo tile. This bedroom has direct access to the second bathroom which is shared with the rest of the house. This bathroom has sauna style wood paneling and extra tall tile shower. The third bedroom is in the front of the house and has two trundle beds with views of the grounds.

This was a great place to stay. Very spacious, clean and easy access to entertainment and shopping (and the AC works great on these hot Texas days!) We would definitely stay here again! The beds were very comfortable and overall a great experience.
This was an amazing home for our trip to Wimberley. Close to our horse show venue and right in the middle of all the very cool restaurants and shops in Wimberley.
This property is close to everything in Wimberley but secluded from the hustle & bustle. The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We plan to stay here again soon.
We were very pleased with out stay. The cabin was perfect; spotless, well equipped, comfortable. Pots/pans utensils were perfectly fine. The amenities on the property were nice - the kids enjoyed them, especially the tetherball. The location is also great. It's close enough to "downtown" Wimberly, but still feels secluded and quiet. Overall a great experience and would certainly recommend.
Very comfy place to spend a relaxed weekend. We enjoyed the short drive to everything we wanted in Wimberley! The property is beautiful and would be great for a family reunion. Would love to go back when it’s warmer to take advantage of the pool. Good indoor space. Full size bed mattresses in one bedroom were not comfy, but other beds were good. Would definitely rent again.

The location was great and the cabin was spacious making it convenient and comfortable for our large group. Only having one shower ended up being a challenge for us, though. We were also disappointed that the kitchen wasn’t stocked as indicated. There were minimal glasses and a total of only three forks. The pots/pans were extremely old/worn/peeling. I didn’t notice that there wasn’t a dishwasher (my bad), so that was a game changer. Between not having enough dishes in general and not having a dishwasher, we had to go out and buy disposable items. The washing machine was rusted out and chipping off around the top of the basin and it smelled terrible. Overall, it was a mixed bag of positives and negatives.

Good location if you want to go to market day
House is across the street from a large Market. If you are going to the market (one Saturday a month) it is a perfect location. Very heavy traffic on that day. Location is convenient to drive to town. The bathrooms are spacious. Nice large fireplace.
The primary problem we had was that there was something either in the attic or on the roof above the kitchen area, that frequently made a loud noise like somebody moving furniture around (bumping and scraping). We looked outside but only found a medium sized branch touching the roof and it wasn't windy.
Otherwise, the only problem was lack of attention to details. All four bulbs were burned out in one of the kitchen fixtures so it was very dark. The ice maker didn't work. The coffee pot took 30 minutes to make one pot. There was one white wine glass and one red wine glass (which was cracked), and 3 coffee mugs. The mattress cover in our bedroom was cheap plastic, so every time you roll over there is a loud crunching sound (but at least there was a mattress cover!)
Just a "heads up," the house is plenty large for couples (3 bedrooms) but they charge 75 per person for anything over 4 people. I didn't realize it and just searched for 3 bedroom houses then got an email about the extra charge. Its probably in the fine print but I didn't see it.
The home was an older home which had been updated, and it was clean and comfortable with adequate space. The host was very accommodating, and coffee, cream, and snacks were provided for us. The only thing we would suggest would be better lighting for putting on makeup in the larger bathroom adjoining the bedroom with two beds.
