We got bitten so badly that I had to go to the doctor to get antibiotics, histamine and ointment. My husband also got bitten. The dishwasher was so badly calcified my husband broke pieces of the element. The utensils were all dirty due to the calcified dishwasher. The tables outside and downstairs have not been cleaned in a long time. The BBQ grill downstairs were disgustingly dirty. And then the neighbors were so loud at night way past 11pm, we could not sleep. This place is no good for a family- if you are there to party and having a bachelorette or something then maybe. I wish VRBO allowed to post photos of how I look like.. The owner did offer to move us to a different unit but we had so much stuff to move just for two nights was not worth it. We slept in the other bedroom. It was supposed to be a good and fun trip to celebrate my husbands 50th and did not expect to go home with multiple bites. I also asked for how he would make it right and have not heard anything from him at all. What a disappointing weekend it was. ##### Nesia D. We had a great trip to the river and enjoyed our stay here! We did have a couple issues when we got there about gate/room codes but the owner was very prompt at helping us get in!! The unit was perfect for our family group of 9!!! We had plenty of room for everyone!! The only complaint that I had was that there were some pretty rowdy neighbors in the other units, which could obviously not be controlled! I addressed this to the owner so that he was aware and he immediately responded to me! The owner was very prompt at responding to a couple other minor things that I addressed as well!! The tubing rental co. next door was very easy to work with. The house was well equipped. The only suggestion is to add to the list of things to bring: toilet paper, trash bags & kitchen towels. There was plenty of space for everyone and I especially loved that the house included a washer and dryer. There was room for the kids to play outside and the house was close to the river.
