The house is close to Historic Gruene and New Braunfels and is located on a beautiful, quiet street. Awesome location with a great view. We had a fantastic time while we were there. However, the house needed a serious scrubbing. I’m not one to complain but when the couple we were with mentioned it I knew I wasn’t being picky. It was actually a bit embarrassing. It was nice to be out in nature hearing the birds chirp and sound of the river. And it was a delight to see so many deer out and about in the daytime. The property was clean, well stocked and "as described" on the site. Easy checkin and check out. I made a couple of calls to the managing company to clarify a couple of small details and it was an easy discussion. I felt they were willing to help out as needed. The patio provides a great setting to enjoy the sounds of the river peacefully in the morning. Everything was as stated in the listing. The kitchen has everything you need to utilize it for your needs fully. Bring shoes for the hot tub as it is down a rocky path. My only suggestion to the host is to consider providing extra towels for the hot tub and perhaps a couple of hooks near the hot tub to hang said towels.
