Wonderful spring break visit. This property is perfect for groups with plenty of activities and games to entertain. Great layout of the home with three kings, which is unusual, a bunk room, and a wonderful ‘party barn’ with an additional double queen and bath.

We loved our stay at this property. It was a girls weekend. The house was even better than the pictures. Elizabeth was easy to work with and was very responsive. We loved all the little extra details, like the coffee bar, too! The beds were very comfortable, even the bunk beds! I have no complaints and it was all super easy. Definitely will be bringing the families back soon.

We had such an amazing time at The Cowboy summit! The property is a gem. We had all ages for this family stay from ages 5-70 and we all had a wonderful time! The Barn/bar was so much fun!! We got to see the moon and the stars through our telescope, we brought my travel solo stove and made s'mores, got in the hot tub, had some friendly battles of ping pong, fooseball and pool! Got to watch football in the barn/bar. Definitely plenty to do. The host, Elizabeth, was wonderful and we can't wait to go back. We have decided to make this an annual family thing:) 10/10 highly recommend. We amazing!thing.

Beautiful view, home decor was nice, spacious for multiple familes! This house has it all, rooms, restrooms, gameroom, location and view! The beds were super firm to my liking but not too much to keep me from booking again. Great location to stay for a river float!

This place was terrific! The privacy of the lot optimizes the utility of the spacious back porch (the deer were considered welcome guests)! We enjoyed watching sports at the outdoor bar including from the hot tub. Finally, the party bar was awesome!

The house was perfect for a multi-family getaway. The porch was very nice and had a constant breeze and with littles, it was so nice that it was fenced off. The party barn was a huge bonus and where we spent most all our time other than the porch! Tons of deer, plenty of games and just overall a nice place to gather. Host was very responsive and the location was easy to get to. The carpets were pretty worn but other than that it was a lovely home and we were happy with everything.

Our group consisted of 5 adults and 5 teenagers. We had a wonderful time. The teenagers enjoyed the barn and the activities in the barn. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment we needed. We had enough bathrooms and showers that we could all get ready for the day without crowding or waiting. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the wildlife and enjoying with quite countryside.

We wanted someplace in the hill country that would be a neutral place to meet for a family holiday trip. This place did not disappoint! From the wonderful game room to the hot tub to all the deer roaming the property, we did not lack for something to do. Highly recommend this place for your family. It’s plenty close to all sorts of activities you might want to add to your trip but who wants to go anywhere else when you are already at a place that resembles a five star resort!

The barn/game room and back porch with hot tub and bar are the highlights, but the whole property is awesome. Was a great house for our group of friends watching football and playing games. All the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room throughout the house. Communication with the host was excellent.

I decided a few months ago to plan a Texas staycation for our group of friends to have a fall/winter recharge the batteries type of local trip. We had some criteria such as driving distance under 5 hours from Dallas, plenty of beds/bathrooms for our group. outdoor space, hot tub, and fun indoor space. Well, The Summit Cowboy checked all of those boxes and then some. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Elizabeths property. Cooked all of our meals at the house and played games every day in the barn. Lots of good belly laughs and quality time with each other. It was really nice hanging out with our good friend that lives in Austin and is a retired Veteran on Veterans Day weekend. Got to experience Wurstfest in New Braunfels for the first time and see of the old spots along the river from college days. Elizabeth is fantastic host and is quick to respond which we appreciated. Dont hesitate to book this property
Thank you for having us Elizabeth

This property was perfect for our family to come together and spend some much needed time to connect and catch up with having to leave the property to have fun. Everything we needed for quality famiy bonding. We did have some scheduled activities we had to attend that pulled us away from the house which upset the grandkids. We are looking forward to returning to the area and spending our entire stay their on the property! Elizabeth was super accommodating Thank you so much.

House was very clean and perfect for our extended family. There was lots to do. The rooms worked out great. The pizza place up the road was amazing wish we had found it before our last day. We cut our trip a little short due to a death in the family at home. We had feed the deer every day and aways had lots of doe and fawns but no bucks. The morning after we had a beautiful buck walk straight up as soon as I put food out. We really felt like it was a gift from our uncle that loved hunting. That buck showed up each day after. We would definitely stay there again it was very nice and easy to get to... we loved the layout and property. Feeding the deer and the deck really was nice...

Summit Cowboy is closely located near the flowing Guadalupe River, short drive to New Braunfels, grocery store, Ace Hardware and other retail, but still secluded offering a relaxing setting. Home has four AC units which kept the home nice and cool during the hot summer months in TX. The barn with two queen beds was perfect for the guest that likes privacy. The barn includes fun activities like pool table, shuffle board and ping pong - lots of fun. The kitchen, dining & living room are very roomy for big families. Kitchen is well stocked. The large back deck with BBQ pit, outdoor TV and hot tub is a great outdoor space. Such a tranquil & relaxing location on a cul de sac with lots of wildlife being fed by a feeder each morning and evening.
Host was excellent with communication, super friendly and offers great amenities.
A true 10 out of 10 - we will book this home again.

We had 5 young adults, 4 middle aged, and 2 seniors and this place was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space to sleep everyone, and the beds and pillows were super comfy (my mom actually took a photo of the pillow brand to buy one at home). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need: bar tools, grill tools, toaster, blender, Crockpot, XL air fryer, and a huge pantry to store all your food in. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, plus beach towels if you decide to go tubing. When the listing says you"might" see deer, it means you will 100% see many deer, as there is a automatic deer feeder and a trashcan full of deer corn for you to feed them, so they come around at least twice a day like puppies, staring at you to give them food. The location is quiet but not isolated or far from anything. And the game barn was perfect for our Family Olympics: corn hole, shuffleboard, ping pong, and billiards/pool. Elizabeth responded promptly when I texted her once or twice. Honestly, we all agreed that the place couldn't have been more perfect, and now we're talking about making it an annual event.
