No waiting in line with the private river access just steps outside of your backdoor! This home is located right before the 3rd crossing on River Road. Interested in fishing? This is the perfect place for you! The Guadalupe River at the 3rd crossing is stocked with trout starting December 1st! The current record from the property is 27 trout in 3 hours. Don't miss your chance to try and beat the record! Spacious kitchen with dining table for 6 and 4 additional seats at the breakfast bar. Comfortable living room with a Smart TV and a futon that sleeps 2\. Large master bedroom with a queen size bed, Smart TV and beautiful views of the river with direct porch access. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and a famous landmark. Gruene also offers great shopping, restaurants and wine tasting. Close to the San Marcos outlet malls, Schlitterbahn and Canyon Lake. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. Bring your own tubes or rent from Roy's and put in upstream at Meckles Landing for a nice hour-long float to the property. Lovely porch with comfortable chairs - this is where I spent most of my time. If you are looking for a place to fish, this probably isn't the spot. And we did have a few minor issues (there is an alarm that kept going off at night and needed to be reset, the roof leaked in the heavy rain and the dishwasher also leaked) but the rental manager was responsive, so they have likely fixed these issues.
