"My friend and I just had an amazing long weekend in this beautiful cottage. Just 5 ish minutes from Millthorpe and close to an array of wineries, it was the perfect location. Super quiet we enjoyed the indoor gas fire as well as the fire pit outside - kept us warm on the chilly 0 degree nights!Well equipped kitchen and modern fit out we loved all the tiny touches. The garden was lovely and plenty of places to sit. Loved watching the stars and seeing the Milky Way as well as watching the sunrise too. Virginia was super efficient communicating with us and helped out when we had a few troubles with no hot water and the gas fire not working which we appreciated. Also appreciated the electric blankets that kept us toasty at night. All in all a wonderful peaceful stay in a gorgeous setting! Thanks so much for having us and can’t wait to come back and explore further! "

"This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute gorgeous! "

"We had a lovely stay at Orangewood. The house was spacious and comfortable for 12 adults. We stayed in winter and despite the cold temperatures outside, the house was warm and cozy once the portable heaters and fires were on. "

"Isolated and very quiet. Lots of sheep surrounding the cottage. Very easy access to the Carcoar River Yarn Festival held that weekend."

"We had a relaxing weekend at the school house, a tastefully curated space with truly enjoyable views. Communication with the owner was excellent, check in very easy (we arrived in the evening) and the place very wellcoming and clean. The only issue maybe was the noise of the refrigerated (in the same space as the bedrrom), so we had to turn it off during the night, as well as the door screen moving / slamming with the wind during the night (which was very windy during our stay) so we had to block it close with a towel. A hook to hold it close would be work in the future. It would also be very helpful to have a small hotplate in the room, all dining facilities are a good 20min away and it limited our ability to cook a light meal in the kitchenette. Otherwise tea, coffea and milk were kindly at our disposition, the bathroom very comfortable and shower excellent. Overall a very nice experience."
