Parking, laundry, barbecue area with covered seating area and campfire site are located directly at the house. Firewood is provided on request for a fee or can also be brought by yourself. The nearest supermarket is about 1200 m away, the nearest restaurant about 50 m. If you are looking for a quiet and simply furnished holiday home that is big enough to spend your time there with your family or friends, this is the place for you. If the number of 10 beds is not sufficient, there is the possibility to book 2 extra beds in the house and a maximum of 8 beds in the neighboring Finnhütte (house 2). The Finnhütte is simple but functional. The bedrooms are located in the upper 2 floors, divided into once 6 beds and once 4 beds. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils, which are also in a normal household: electric stove with oven, sink and dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer, microwave, filter coffee machines, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, Kitchen linen etc. 2 sanitary rooms with shower and toilet, lounge with enough tables and chairs and a TV. Outside there are covered seating areas, a campfire site, barbecue area and XXL-Smooker, which are also used in winter. The campfire site is built in such a way that a large cauldron can be hung over it to cook food, if desired the kettle is provided. Firewood can be purchased through us. The huts are popular because of their proximity to the forest especially in hiking groups, cycling tourists and extended families. But also motorbike fans come here at their expense. If you want to swim, you can do so in the nearby Waldbad Bernhardsthal or in winter in the indoor swimming pool in Neuhaus am Rennweg. There you can also have a sauna. For excursions and activities can also be found a lot in the region. Examples include the glassblower town of Lauscha, the snow and summer tubbing rink in Siegmundsburg, summer toboggan run in Ernsthal, toy museum in Sonneberg, mountain railway in Oberweißbach, ski arena in Steinach. There is much more, we are happy to provide information. Die Raumaufteilung innen gefiel uns garnicht. War so gar nicht gemütlich. Die Küche war im Souterrain und ohne Aussentür , sehr dunkel. Die Küche war sehr klein. Um zu den Schlafstellen zu kommen musste man eine sehr steile Stiege hoch. Die Lage ist ganz ok, direkt am Wald, allerdings mit Bundestrasse vor dem Grundstück. Schön war, dass wir Feuer machen konnten. Insgesamt würden wir hier nicht mehr buchen. ##### Kai S. Gute Lage direkt am Rennsteig, auch das schöne Waldbad Bernhardsthal ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Negativ: Die Bundesstraße ist ziemlich nah (50m) und zu hören; die Treppen im Haus sind extrem steil; das Wohnzimmer im Souterrain etwas düster - draußen sitzt man aber schön. ##### Daniel Z. Die Hütte ist leicht zu erreichen; super sauber und perfekt wenn man einfach mal wandern gehen will. Wir waren eine Gruppe aus 6 Freunden die sich von jedem Winkel aus Deutschland + Österreich treffen wollten. Ein großer Tisch perfekt zum Gemeinsamen Essen und um Gesellschaftsspiele zu spielen. Der Innenraum ist einfach eingerichtet, in großen Teilen etwas in die Jahre gekommen (hier wird wohl gerade nach und nach renoviert). In allen relevanten Bereichen war es sauber. In der Küche findet man alles was man braucht. Der Außenbereich hat mit der Lagerfeuerstelle viel Potential. Dort ist es doch recht zugeramscht, wodurch etwas von dem Potential verschenkt wird. Großen Abbruch tut dies gemütlichen Abenden am Feuer aber auch nicht. Mit der Grillstelle, den nahegelegenen Bademöglichkeiten und dem Wald ringsherum ist diese Hütte wirklich für jede Art von Urlaub perfekt, egal ob Erholung, Action oder alles dazwischen. Ist zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch wird es Stück für Stück renoviert. Die wunderschöne Feuerstelle ist natürlich der Wahnsinn mit dem echt guten zusätzlichen gelieferten Holz! In der Küche ist alles da was man braucht! Der Aufenthaltsraum ist richtig schick mit neuen Pellet Ofen. Vielen Dank auch an Frau Barth und Herr Graf für das Vertrauen und das alle telefonischen Absprachen eingehalten worden sind! Liebe Grüße K. Gut war, dass die Toiletten von Männer und Frauen getrennt waren. Es gab genug Betten und frischen Bezug. Die Küche war ebenso sauber und es gab alles was man gebraucht hat. Von Geschirr, bis hin zur Geschirrspülmaschine usw.... auch Kleinigkeiten wie Salz usw waren da. Sehr zu empfehlen! Sie ist direkt am Rennsteig gelegen und bietet alles was man braucht: 2 getrennte Bäder mit Duschen, gemütliche Betten und ein Palletofen. Besonders der Außenbereich ist durch die große Terasse, die Feuerstelle und verschiedene Grills sehr gut ausgestattet. Nur wenige Meter entfernt ist auch die wunderbare Gaststube Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war immer freundlich und die Antworten kamen sehr zügig. ##### Dimitri O.
