The Staff were amazing especially Charlie. The breakfast was very good & freshly cooked. The room was ok but the bathroom was small & the shower was very poor pressure it just drizzles out. The property is very dated & needs modernising , It felt as if I was still in the 70s 🤔

Hotel public areas nice. Bedroom furniture a little tired in the room we were in. Very clean all over. Breakfast good and lots of choices albeit not the cheapest at £15.95 a head. Dinner choices ok but felt the quality for the money was lacking a bit. Service wasn’t great, waiting staff taking your drinks order weren’t allowed to take food orders. Another waitress had to do that! Staff were all very pleasant and helpful though.

Name was changed to Brentwood so was looking for Highland. Bed comfortable pillow was 2 cushions in a pillow case. Old hotel needs refurbishment staff helpful friendly. Great location. Would stay again
