I liked the proximity of the Red Roof Inn to local hospitals, industrial zones, major highways, beach areas and Newark Airport. The Inn was very clean, well maintained and the staff available to help as needed 24/7. The staff was also very professional, efficient in helping to check-in and check-out and very pleasant and friendly all helping to ensure a very pleasant stay. I recommend the Red Roof Inn highly as the best Motel value in the area.

Overall, found the staff to be very friendly and courteous; the only reason I was unable to give five stars was due to my room smelling like stale cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke-free room (no fault of the owners). The building is quite old, but appears to be maintained within reason. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected. For the price, I cannot complain!

In general, my stay was mediocre. No shampoo in shower. I did not like the pillows , but mattress was great. No pool because of cool season still. Bathroom needs new sealants. Grout on tiles are ok.

The hotel is good overall, comfortable beds, clean room. They did have some trouble with the water fan a day or two but seemed to get it repaired. The property is a good size and having an ice machine only in the lobby at the main desk is a pain but otherwise good. We will stay here again
