This cabin was amazing - so quaint in the woods, clean, spacious. Plenty of room and sleeping with the windows open made it nice and cool, even on July! Very memorable stay!
The cabin was a great place to stay for our week in the black hills. The views were great and checking in and out was super easy. There was great communication all around. I would recommend and book again.
We stayed here and it was great midpoint for all the attractions! It was comfortable and loved drinking my coffee on the porch listening to the stream!! I would highly recommend this property and loved how homey it felt.
Everything listed about this VRBO was accurate. It was in a beautiful area that was in good location to Rapid City, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park.
The home was very cozy and worked wonderfully for our family of 5.
Beautiful area and beautiful home.
Spent a ladies weekend here with my mom and my sister. The location was perfect as we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet, but also explore the many of the popular sites around the area. Jeff was also a friendly and responsive host!
This property was beautiful! Clean and quiet! Saw deer, turkey, bunnies and free range cows! Loved every minute! Jeff was easy to reach with any questions.
Exactly what we had wanted and needed. Great front porch sitting area, not to mention the surrounding views were beautiful! We saw two deer every morning running through the meadow!
Great cabin for a family of 4. Spacious, clean and cozy!!!
Jeff was quick to reply if we had any questions.
If you dont want to stay in a busy town this is perfect!
Wonderful stay. The property was exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed for our family of 5. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We would definitely stay again.
We all had a great time !
House was awesome very clean and comfortable.
Car show was great as usual
Caught and released some small trout in the creek
Good fly fishing practice thanks !
The property was clean, and had all the things we needed to cook, clean up, and relax during our stay. We were able to see all the sights in a timely manor. Sitting on the deck and visiting was really nice. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the creek.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The morning coffee on the porch was wonderful!! They provided two coffee makers - regular with filters or a Keurig. The location was great - a little closer to Deadwood and Sturgis, but we enjoyed the drive through the mountains to get to Custer State Park (around 1 hour drive). The beds were also very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!!
Perfect place for my famiy of 5 to stay- it was only about 5 miles down the road from our family's property. Very clean with great check-in and check-out instructions.
My 14 and 12 year old boys got on the floor and played with the lincoln logs like they were little again... it was great. Thanks and we will return to this home in the future!
I cannot speak the volumes of peace at this place brought me. Centrally located amongst great cities, close to the Mount Rushmore Monument, amongst many other things. The peace and quiet that you get from this place is outstanding. They are not exaggerating when they say you can hear the babbling brook from the porch. An awesome place to stay will definitely come again.
Property was lovely. Always saw deer in the meadow — sitting on porch was very relaxing! My nephew who 30 and autistic loved straying in “the cabin in the woods”!
Cabin was spacious, clean and quiet. The kids loved the creek for wading, and I loved my morning coffee on the porch listening to it gurgle. Remote location in the hills was just what we were looking for. Rural water and a drive to the grocery store, so plan to bring a cooler for groceries and buy water at the store. But that wouldn’t stop us from staying again.
This cozy little cabin nestled just miles north of Nemo was the perfect spot for our group. The cabins amenities were sufficient enough to accommodate our stay. We appreciated the laundry, flat turn around driveway and full kitchen. The location is just north of a single track off highway motorcycle trail. We rode directly to the trail from the cabin.
