Welcome - Our modern refurbished apartment is ready for you to enjoy your relaxing stay. Walk right in and feel calm, secure and ready to relax. Situated in the wonderful “Latitude 41” apartment block along Wakefield Quay, Nelson’s prime waterfront. We offer a roomy 61m2 apartment with an additional balcony. We believe it’s the small things that count when staying away from home so we offer shampoo, conditioners, soap, tea, coffee (Nespresso machine) hairdryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The TV is a smart TV where Netflix can be accessed with your own Netflix account Luxury linens are also provided. Fibre broadband internet is available. The apartment is 2.5km to the city centre and 3.2km stroll along the waterfront to the popular Tahunanui beach. Kick back and watch the ships sail past your window or grab your fishing rod and take your chance fishing off the jetty across the road. For breakfast enjoy eggs beni and great coffee across the road at the Styx cafe or dine at the boat shed or the popular Thai Resturant Narm or maybe you just want fish and chips. All are just a stroll away. Free secure parking is inside the building. PLEASE NOTE: Like all waterfront properties it is situated on a main road, so traffic noise can be excessive when on the balcony. However the double glazed doors closed, cancel out the noise inside the apartment and do not affect sleeping as the bedroom is situated in the back of the property. You will enjoy staying here by the sea, as we have for our regular escape from our busy life. In fact we love it so much we have also invested in the apartment next door. So if there is more than 2 of you and you want friends to join you, they can be right next door at apartment 4. Please contact me for more details and availability. Everything was fine , it was action packed with container ships sailing past the balcony.Close to three good venues, a great little coffee shop and a 3 min drive into main centre.
This well equipped property provided a very comfortable stay. The personalised check-in was great with an explaination of how everything worked including secure car parking. It is on the main road so some road noise during the day but wasn't an issue at night when sleeping. Good view of the water and ships entering & leaving port.
