Great experience at the Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. Dean and Tomoko are great hosts, so friendly. We had a pretty little garden courtyard to sit in complete with three Fantails (Piwakawaka) flying around us. Will definitely stay here again!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely bed and linens. We had a nice and private patio off our bedroom, which we used and enjoyed. Very walkable distance to many fine and recommended restaurants.

Well located to many dining options, quiet even though on a main road, spacious, clean & well-equipped. Liked more environmental bulk dispensers for shampoo etc.

Honestly Chelsea park motor lodge has to be one of thee most beautiful places I have been to. Staff are amazing and welcoming, my room was very tidy and comfortable, it’s in the perfect place to be in Nelson as everything you need, want and see is all around and just a short distance away. I would definitely go back to this place again. Thank you so very much for a wonderful experience and place to stay.

Dean was very friendly and helpful to us on our stay and upgrade us to a room with spa,good shower pressure and clean just what I needed after a day of seminar in Nelson hospital to dip in the spa for relaxation. Would greatly recommended.

Friendliest motel in Nelson
Tomoko and Dean were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay in Nelson perfect. They went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. I would highly recommend their motel to anyone. In addition to being gracious hosts, the motel is clean and well appointed, the room came with lots of hot drink options, everything you need to make dinner, and we were happily surprised to see an enormous hot tub in our bathroom. The motel is in easy walking distance to the center of town.

Very friendly and helpful owners! A few of us were staying for a conference nearby and Dean offered to take us to the airport when we checked out. Thank you. The roadworks outside won't be there much longer. Not a problem for normal work hours. Just don't expect a sleep in until they're over.

Handy to town. Hosts great in their welcome and assistance whenever required. Need greater prominence regarding this being a pet friendly motel on their online presence.

The motel owners went out of their way to help us settle in and make choices as to activities we could do. We greatly enjoyed wandering around the city and visiting Abel Tasman Park.

Vg location ,parking and very clean unit with excellent spa and two televisions. Quiet unit Number 8 ,check in quick with very helpful lady. We will stay again next time in Nelson as the price for our accommdation was reasonable
