Lovely room, good location, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast a bit limited.
The booking through Expedia was simple, but the hotel received a booking for 2 single rooms, one in the wing name spelling, and neither with breakfast, whereas my receipt stated 2 double rooms, including breakfast, and in the correct names. Luckily the hotel were amiable.

Beautiful old converted building, but corridors and rooms were tatty and showing their age. Only came into contact with front desk staff, but they weren’t very friendly and (possibly the manager) one of the staff completely dismissed my request to fill my water bottle when I was checking out. EV chargers didn’t work. It is in a good location to walk into town and use the many restaurants and bars nearby. Didn’t eat or drink in the hotel as it looked quite soleless. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, and wouldn’t recommend it.

"Chateau Tilques is located a few miles north of Saint-Omer in a small village. The Hotel comprises a Chateau style hotel and grounds, with an external annex of rooms of some size. I stayed in the annex which was comfortable and well decorated. Some minor issues were irritating. The key-light master ..."
