Rooms were clean, but a lot of the included equipment like the water equipment (kayaks/paddle boat), large swing, two restaurants were ‘not working.’ Which was a reason we chose this location. The food was excellent, but service slow. The all inclusive breakfast changed locations without notice to the guests- The airport transportation was coordinated ahead of time and when we landed after an early flight, the driver informed us he would be an hour late. Many small/medium inconveniences but the area was lovely.

Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our visit to Colombia. It is more of a retreat than a hotel. We only booked a single night here because we wanted to spend a day in the Medellin area and close to the airport, but after the first night we cancelled our flights and decided to stay and enjoy this property and their hospitality for an extra 2 days!
