"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dvele Inn in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and it was a truly amazing experience. The decor and design is absolutely stunning, reflecting the same beauty seen in the photos. Plus, each morning, we were treated to thoughtful breakfast baskets filled with delicious local treats, a wonderful way to start the day. Additionally, the inn's location is ideal, with several delightful cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. I can’t recommend Dvele Inn...
"While the room was beautiful and the location was lovely, our stay here didn't quite live up to our expectations, especially given that it was the most expensive accommodation of our trip to Newfoundland.
The hospitality was a bit disappointing, particularly when compared to the exceptional warmth we experienced at other places we stayed. We also encountered some practical issues. The lack of clear parking signs meant that public parkers often used the guest spaces, which was frustrating....

Ramada by Wyndham St. John's
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at the Ramada Inn during the Canada, summer games. I rented an E bike to go to the venues to go encourage the athletes. The hotel let me park my bike in my room, which was very much appreciated.
Staff was very hard-working and helpful, the room was very clean. I appreciated the small fridge as I could purchase some food at the nearby Sobeys or Walmart. Also, the restaurant downstairs was handy for takeout or room service."
"Loved everything about this property, design, cleanliness, location, view…but the most Amazing aspect is the staff! Every single staff member was kind, helpful, friendly, and made sure you had a great experience here. A few standout, namely Bailey who offered us a complimentary upgrade, suggested great restaurants when on-site options were not available, and booked a taxi, and always graciously. Lauren and David were also very helpful in rebooking an additional night’s stay and canceling taxi reservations when our flight out of St John’s was cancelled. Cleaning staff and dining staff also always very professional and courteous. Best hotel in every way! "
"The street parking was a challenge with constant street cleaning, but the hotel was great - fun decor, friendly staff and in a good location (although the warf was somewhat noisy at night). "
"Room was comfortable. Most of the staff were very polite and helpful. Internet access was good. Convenient - about 10 minutes by car from airport and downtown, near mall. 24 restaurant on-site which is helpful for late-night arrivals and early departures."
