Welcome to the heart of the Aletsch Arena!

We rent out this detached chalet for 7 people, which features two bedrooms with double beds and a children’s room with a bunk bed, a play area, toys, and books. A fold-out cot or a folding mattress for an additional baby or toddler is also available. The chalet has a bathroom with a toilet and shower, as well as a separate toilet. Bedding, bath towels, and kitchen towels are included in the total price.

The modern kitchen features a dishwasher, an infrared stove with an oven, and usually has spices, salt, sugar, oil—basically, the small quantities of ingredients you need for cooking. A Nespresso coffee machine is also available, as well as a blender, a raclette grill, and a fondue pot.

For entertainment, there are various board and card games, a TV with an internet connection for your Netflix account or similar services, as well as Zattoo channels, plus a DVD player. And of course, high-speed Wi-Fi is already available in Valais!

For outdoor use, in addition to the solid wood table with a bench and chairs, there are also lounge chairs, a parasol, a shade sail, and an easy-to-use electric grill.

In Tschuggen, there’s an adventure playground, table tennis, and many hiking trails that pass right by. In Blatten, you’ll find mini-golf, a climbing park, a wading pond, a playground, and restaurants. On Belalp, there are magnificent views, mountain streams to dam up, places to stop for a bite to eat, and fantastic hiking all the way to the Aletsch Glacier and beyond.

Also worth visiting is the Massa Gorge, Switzerland’s canyoning paradise. There are opportunities for rock climbing and hiking, mountain scooter riding, paragliding, thermal swimming, and visiting attractions (e.g., the Stockalper Palace). And in winter, of course, sledding, skiing, or snowboarding at altitudes of over 3,000 metres above sea level!

Insider tip: Take a glacier tour to or on Switzerland’s largest glacier. Many mountain huts are accessible on one- or multi-day hikes, and avid mountaineers can even make it to the Jungfraujoch.
