Excellent!

We stayed for two nights following a 10-day stay in Eleuthera. The villa was everything we could have hoped for—very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and quiet —although only a 5-minute drive from the airport. Host Mike and his daughter were especially helpful with airport pick-up and drop-off as well as offering suggestions for lovely restaurants within a 10-minute walk. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and outdoor seating area. We highly recommend!

Delightful apartment

The host provided a very warm welcome. The property was perfect for us with all amenities provided and a well stocked kitchen. The garden, terrace and pool were perfect for relaxation.Great location close to amazing restaurants and the beach. Absolutely no complaints but if there was to be one, it would be that the sofa bed in the lounge is uncomfortable. Other than that, thank you for a perfect stay!

Blue Margarita

We were a little hesitant about staying at an adjoined property of the owners because we like our privacy. However, it was no issue at all. They gave us our privacy and were quick to answer any questions and offer help to anything we needed. Super nice people. The location was perfect for us. We do not care for tourist locations. This was on the side of the island we call "where the locals live". The house had a book on site with everything you needed to know. That is a personal favorite for me. We stayed at a home in Hawaii that didn't provide that and it turned into a nightmare. The Blue Margarita was completely professional and we would stay again.

Quick trip, wish we had more time.

Mike and Karra were very friendly and accommodating. They made the check in process very simple to understand and we had no issues. They even offered to drive us back to the airport the morning we left and to get groceries, since we didn't rent a vehicle. The property was updated and clean, and comfortable (TV had a Firestick for google assist, Netflix and even a PS3 stocked with games!!!). There was a pullout couch, but my daughter opted for the air mattress which she said was comfortable. The pool was actually larger than I expected and had plenty of room for the three of us to spread out and relax. The property felt private, even though we were <5 min walk to multiple bars/restaurants, and the beach (though the beach was small by the property, you need to walk a little further west to Nirvana (bar) to access a larger one), though Mike offered a ride there as well. Highly recommend Studio Cafe and Scoop (restaurant and ice cream spot that Mike told me about). Thanks, it was just what we needed.

Long-Term stay

We stayed here for 3 months. The apartment is large overall, but the kitchen is small; however, we both were able to work together in it. Bed is comfortable and lots of closet and drawer space. TV has a firestik so lots of choice, including Canadian news! Plants and greenery added to the feeling of home. We had access to a large outdoor space that included pool and cabana area. Lots of good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We often walked through Gambier village and found the people to be friendly. Number 10 bus stop is a block away, saving us from having to rent a car. When we arrived Mike picked us up at the airport and Kara took us grocery shopping. After that we took cabs, which in the long run was cheaper than renting a car. If we had a problem or wanted information, they were available and dealt with issues right away. Example is during their Christmas holiday the WIFI quit working. Mike (who was in Florida) had a solution within minutes of me contacting him. They were very conscientious of their obligations as hosts without crossing personal boundaries. We found them both to be caring and generous people and we will definitely be back.

As always, my family of four had an excellent time at the Blue Margarita. The property and rooms were very clean and check-in and out were smooth. The pool was an added bonus and my boys had a blast playing basketball on the goal. Thanks for a great stay.

We booked this place for our family of four and it was way too small with not enough sleeping for our kids. Pool was full of leaves and other stuff; property was not clean enough. Driveway/walkway to the apartment was really steep. We were there only for one night and I couldn’t wait to get out of there fast enough.

Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and very comfortable with a pool to cool off. It was walkable distance to restaurants which was a bonus as we did not rent a car, for our one night stay. If you're looking for a place close to the airport this is it. I would highly recommend it.

The property is advertised as a two bedroom. It is not. I slept on a couch in the living room, which sucked. There is apparently an air mattress in a closet we could have set up, but that doesnt make it a two bedroom. Bathroom mirror had not been cleaned in awhile while, it was pretty gross. The bathroom in the unit is only accessed by going through the bedroom, so for anyone not staying in the room you have to walk through it in the middle of the night. This property needs to be listed as a one bedroom for 2 people.

Honeymoon visit

Amazing hospitality. They went above and beyond for us. From toilet paper to a ride to the airport. The people in the neighborhood were super friendly and very helpful. The church and conch stand with the view are amazing. People are overwhelmingly friendly in the area. We'd definitely recommend visiting

Kara and Mike were excellent hosts. Mike was very accommodating and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. The property is situated at the quieter end of the island by a nice beach and within walking distance of a great restaurant. We stayed twice…once on the way to Long Island and once on the way back. Highly recommend!
