It's rustic and tucked away in the woods on the side of a hill with hiking trails near. The property manager was very responsive, even late at night during a tornado warning. He made sure we were safe and taken care of. The driveway is very steep and could be tight for larger vehicles, but you get used to navigating it. The downtown area of Franklin is very cute and walkable. The city is not far away if you want to leave the quiet cabin, but you would never know you're even near a large city with all the hustle and bustle. We would stay at this cabin again. ##### Katie W. This propery is accesesed through dirt, gravel, steep winding roads. Which is what we expected for this more secluded area. We were prepared and brought the cherokee. Not a necessity, but made it easier. We arrived at night and found that motion sensing lights on the property lit up right where we needed them, which was great! The ondoor space is very nice. There is a wood burning fireplace, portable radiant heater, and mini split. The upstairs is a loft with 2 adult and 2 kid beds. We were able to move them around easily to accomodate our needs. The kids and my husband had fun with the pacman game up there.We did not find anything that we needed, that wasn't provided. The back porch is elevated above the woods, has seating, including a rocker and a power outlet. We explored the woods and enjoyed the walking trails. There were deer, chipmunks, and a beautiful bard owl hanging around. This time of year the walnuts and acorns are dropping, and can startle in the middle of the night when landing on the roof. But was oart of the charm of beeing out of the city and fully in nature. We were able to drive to stores, restaurants, and to Nashville in reasonable amounts of time. I wish our stay was longer.
