Nashville

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Location: The location is great, near the mall and Opryland hotel.
The rooms were smelly, my brothers room had the toilet running the whole time. The elevator stopped working one day. All in all not a very good experience.

Pros: Closeness / bus that picked you up and brought you back to the hotel
Cons: The hallways smell horrid ; some of the staff were less than friendly / accommodating.
Was not impressed ; we had a room for 4 but were only supplies with 3 towels. When we asked for more, the desk clerk was argumentative and rude.

Pros: Close to convention center.
Cons: Toilet had a slow leak and would refill loudly. Caulk around tub had what looked like mold and should be replaced. Crappy breakfast. New pillows!
My room was very close to the front desk and there was a LOT of noise from other guests. During the second of 4 nights I learned that the fan/AC blocked out almost all noise so I had to keep it on all night. That worked pretty well.

Mistake booking and was not refunded

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Pros: Was unable to see it and will not be seeing it in May either. On to one with better costumer service and understanding,
Cons: Costumer service
I accidentally booked a room for the night I was reserving rather than for my vacation next month. As soon as I realized I did not select any dates and the screen said confirmed I called costumer service. I was not given a refund therefore a hotel room was wasted and a costumer is very upset.

Hotel needs make-over.

Posted 13-Apr-2017
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: Hire a professional crew to come in and 'finesse' the place. OMG - what a dump.
Location: If you're into Opryland, you're right there.
Very disappointing - badly in need of renovations. Poor workmanship on showers (caulking, painting), halls smelled like cigarettes

Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Better cleaning practices - update facilities.
Location: We thought we could walk to the Grand Ole Opry from the hotel, but sadly no.
I have stayed at Day's Inn in the past and expected a certain amount of cleanliness and courtesy. The young men that checked us in and out were great - the guy that was working at the desk in the evening was not. The room smelled like smelly air freshener spray and there were cobwebs everywhere. There were two of us in the room - not enough pillows on the bed, or enough towels for us both to have showers.

Convenient to area attractions and restaurants with hotel being a decent place to stay.
