Our home was built in the 1890s and is situated minutes by car to Downtown Nashville and walkable to the Vanderbilt campus & stadium, numerous coffee shops and a wide variety of restaurants. A true Victorian, it is appointed with luxury and designed with intention. Here are some highlights of our home: • Fully stocked kitchen • Amazing outdoor spaces • Family-friendly amenities • 2 master bedrooms • 8 beds offer variety of sleeping options • Onsite parking • Smart TVs with cable, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon • Free WIFI • Plentiful amenities • Situated in the exclusive West End neighborhood Built in the 1890s by a Vanderbilt surgeon, our home is situated just minutes to Downtown Nashville in the exclusive, premier West End neighborhood. Though the home maintains many of its original features, it has been updated with modern conveniences you have come to expect. This includes a newly updated kitchen, bathrooms, A/C & Heating and plumbing. It has been appointed with luxury in mind and designed with intention to welcome you and your family and/ or friends to Nashville. Here is a bit more detail about the home... Outdoor Spaces: • Stately wrap around front porch with seating for the entire group • Amazing back deck space with a charcoal grill, large dining table with seating for the entire group and overhead patio lights. Fully Stocked Kitchen & Dining For 12 With Dolly: • Fully stocked kitchen with Jenn-Air stainless steel appliances, flex coffee maker, tea kettle and enough settings for the entire group. • Restoration Hardware, 6ft round dining table with seating for 12 (plus high chair) around the magnificent Dolly Parton portrait. As newlyweds, we wanted to incorporate the same size round table we had at our wedding because loved the way it brought together our friends and family. We hope this grand dining table will offer the same for you and yours. Family-Friendly: • Combination shower/ tub in downstairs bathroom • Connecting door between the 2 downstairs master bedrooms (can also be closed for privacy) • Convertible high chair • Baby bath • Pack n' play • Board Games • Toys • Books • Stair gate for leading to or coming down from upstairs • Outlet covers Luxurious, Spacious Bedrooms: • 2 downstairs master bedrooms each with a King Size Bed • Flexible sleeping options with 8 beds all within 4 bedrooms to provide each guest with an actual bed/ mattress- no air mattresses or sleeper sofas needed here! There are 3 King Beds, 1 Queen Bed, 2 Full Beds (bunk bed setup) and 2 Twin Beds (day beds) • A variety of mattress firmnesses throughout accommodate any sleeping preferences, ranging from plush soft to memory foam. There are also a variety of pillows ranging from soft to firm. • Frette fine Italian bed linens adorn each bed. • Smart TVs with cable and Netflix, Hulu, Amazon access are mounted in each bedroom Plentiful Amenities & Perks: • Seating for up to 12 in all shared areas of the home: outdoor spaces, dining room, living room to foster togetherness for friends and family. • 65" Smart TV in living room with cable and Netflix, Hulu, Amazon access. • Complimentary WIFI throughout the home • Complimentary, dedicated parking for up to 3 vehicles (plus overflow parking on street). • Welcome snacks & water. • Individually wrapped tooth brushes & welcome toothpaste. • Organic Terra Pure shampoo & body wash in travel size for each guest upon arrival. • 2-way flex coffee maker & coffee. • Tea Kettle & tea. • Creamer & Sugar. Important Considerations Before Booking Our Home: • Only accessible via small flights of stairs (both front & back entrances). • We are unable to accommodate early check-ins/ late check-outs. We suggest booking the night before or after your stay to ensure this, if available. Otherwise, we are happy to provide you contact information of a local luggage storage company. • The home is located in a city environment on a bustling street with through traffic (we have our its popularity to thank for that) and near hospitals. For this reason, you will likely hear street noise and occasional ambulances passing by. • To ensure an early check-in/late check-out, we suggest booking the night prior to/ after your stay (if available). To be considerate of other guests who are departing/ arriving we are unable to accommodate early checkin/ late checkout requests. However, we are happy to refer you to a local luggage storage company. • We follow all local regulations which includes having a permit (pic in photos), following Nashville quiet hours and occupancy restrictions. Permit Issued 2017\_followed by\_004138. • Our standard min stay duration is 2 nights however this does vary during certain seasons and events. Our maximum stay is 14-days however if you have a unique situation you would like to discuss, please message us. • Guests under the age of 25+ are more than welcome however we do ask that they are accompanied by parents or guardians at all times for their own safety. If you plan to bring guests under the age of 25 and/ or if you plan to use our family- friendly amenities, please let us know their ages so we can setup our home to be age- appropriate (ie high chair, pack n play, toys, etc) for your stay. • Pets: We love pets however due to the age of the home, we do not allow pets, birds, reptiles or anything else non- human in the home. :) • Parking: Please use designated parking spaces and only use overflow street parking if necessary. Due to the size of our parking spaces and Nashville laws, we are unable to accommodate trailers, RVs, boats or anything that is not a standard vehicle (car, truck, SUV, motorcycle) in our driveway or on the street around our home. If you are traveling with anything other than a vehicle that you need parking for, feel free to check with us and we'll work with you to see if we can find alternate arrangements for parking it. • Exterior Nest Cameras are in use at all times to ensure house rules. There are NO interior cameras or any cameras facing to the interior of the home. Please do not tamper with or unplug the cameras. • Age of the home: We love our home because of its 1890s charm, however that does come with some limitations. We ask that you exercise caution on the flooring, plumbing, windows and faux finish walls. • We do not allow parties or events at the home, however we welcome guests visiting for special occasions. The location is great for a visit to Vanderbilt! It is also an easy drive or Uber ride to downtown. The home is well-stocked, comfortable and very well-maintained. The house provided us a place to stay under a mile to hospital . We left 15 minutes before check in and were able to go back and forth. Hospital allows for 2 visitors to stay overnight but really only 1 is comfortable so i was able to stay close by for the duration ##### Joe D. There was plenty of room for everyone and the extra amenities were wonderful! Easy Uber to Broadway to listen to the bands or just people watch. Definitely would stay here again on our next trip. This is truly an amazing property! The house, particularly the incredible porch, was the highlight of our stay at Vandy. The house is spotless and is fully stocked with toiletries, snacks, drinks, etc... Dale and Tonya are terrific hosts and so very accommodating. We were a group of 7 women on a girls weekend and this house was a fantastic home base for us. It is in a nice residential neighborhood with walkable amenities and quiet neighbors. It is very close to Vanderbilt and an easy drive to all the fun places in Nashville. Dale and Tonya (our hosts) were absolutely fabulous and so accommodating. They had great recommendations for places to visit and things to do without being intrusive and they provided a lot of great amenities. They really did think of everything that would make the stay comfortable. I cannot recommend this property or these hosts more highly! ##### Heather F. There were 12 of us, we had an amazing time and the think that helped make the trip so amazing was staying at Tonya and Dale’s home. The house is stunning. We were all very comfortable and can’t say enough great things about Tonya and Dale. We were able to check in a little early and check out late. They also recommended Bach Babes and they did a great job decorating the house before we got there. If you are looking for a place to stay in Nashville this home ahis be number 1 on your list. It is in a very nice neighborhood, we felt safe the whole time we were there. I can go on and on about how fantastic everything was but you really should reserve the home and see for yourself. ##### holly b. This home was perfect for the 9 of us! We choose a home that accommodates our parents who are pushing 90! My sister and her family of 5! And me and my wife! My sister and her family found the upstairs perfect for her clan. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were perfect for our parents and the 2 of us. We still had the bunk bed room left over!The dining room/ living room was very comfortable and we loved the lazy Susan on the dining room table. The home is centrally located for a perfect Nashville experience! It was a quick Uber ride to the Nissan stadium to enjoy a Cowboys win! 10 minute drive to enjoy Broadway! We also enjoyed NYE at the Grand Ole Opry! The home has a very welcoming front porch and back deck. This was one of our favorite rental homes! Plenty of good eats as well! We wanted a house, townhouse, or condo close to the city and Broadway but not in the middle of it. This location and the property were perfect for us. It is only about a 8-10 minute Uber ride to Broadway plus there are several restaurants and music venues within walking distance (The Local, Commodore Lounge, etc.). It is also in a very safe neighborhood. One requirement for us was to have a bed for everyone with minimal bunk beds. This home delivered that. Having only two bathrooms presented some challenges for 8 guys but we managed the shower and toilet use pretty well. For us the highlight was the front porch. We hung out there every night just catching up and we couldn’t have imagined a better spot for this. The owners were very flexible and accommodating and provided some nice treats for us in the fridge and on the counter. Probably the best owner encounter we’ve ever had with a VRBO owner. The only recommendation for any guests is to be sure you bring ear plugs. The road that runs along the side of the home is quite busy and can be noisy during rush hour in the AM but quiets down after the afternoon rush hour.
