The staff was courteous. On Monday night I stayed in a Marriott facility and it was filthy. I didn't have shower shoes and they put me in a handicapped room so I couldn't shower - had to take a sink bath - because I could not bear to have my feet touch the nasty shower floor. Holiday Inn Nashville - Vanderbilt (Dwtn) by IHG
The staff was friendly, but the hotel itself is in need of some updating and maintenance. The carpet was old and saggy, not stretched and tacked as it should be, and there was chipped paint around. The beds were comfortable, thankfully.

Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown
Lost power for three hours. No phone, no communication, no announcement or paper apology. They use text for valet and even though you are queued #1, they wait until you come down stairs before retrieving your car multiple times.
