But the residents have decided it's time to move to their permanent housing - so 2026 will be open to vacation renters again. •We're the owners of two Paki Maui condos to give you options. In addition to Paki Maui 227, we also own Paki Maui 323 so please reach out to the owner, Jill. Both are 2 bedroom/2 bathroom so between my 2 condos at the same resort, I can accommodate up to 12 guests (8 adults/4 kids).\] Benefits of our Paki Maui 227 condo include: \- now with Air Conditioning! Also ceiling fans. \- 48 inch LED HD Smart TV \- free wireless internet connection \- couch and chairs (couch pulls out to Queen bed) \- washer and dryer so you can do laundry in the comfort of the condo! \- 2 lanais (balconies), 1 with a cocktail table and chairs and the other with a chaise lounge \- we provide a Port-a-Crib and collapsible stroller for folks bringing their smaller guests We are the proud owners of this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo located on the west coast of Maui in the Honokowai region. The Paki Maui condo resort is oceanfront and right next door to Honokowai Beach Park, where the kids can enjoy a playground and beach. Enjoy the ocean views of Molokai and Lanai'i from the Paki Maui lawn: sip your morning coffee while watching the waves come in or sometimes turtles feeding on the reefs (or even watch humpback whales November - April) and come back later with a Mai Tai to watch the beautiful sunset over the Pacific. We consider our beautifully remodeled condo as our second home, and yours: you won't be roughing it as you'll enjoy the modern amenities, from the granite kitchen countertops and tile floors throughout to the claw-foot bathtub great for bathing the little ones after a day at the beach. As well, we've installed a 48-inch Samsung Smart TV. Enjoy breakfast on the private lanai off the family room or take a well-deserved afternoon nap on the chaise lounge on the other lanai off the master bedroom. Our intention is to provide a great value for families - affordable yet upscale at the same time. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, the guest bedroom has a Queen bed, and the couch in the family room has a comfortable Queen size fold out bed. Plus we provide a Port-a-Crib and collapsible stroller (remove child first!) to accommodate guests with small children so you don't have to haul those items from home. And you'll notice that we won't charge you for additional guests - our unit sleeps up to 6 people (4 adults, 2 kids) yet unlike other condo owners we won't charge you a fee for each person up to the 6\. You can all cool down with the trade winds coming through both sliding glass doors, as well as ceiling fans in every room. We also have free wireless in the condo, high speed internet access, and cable HD Internet-enabled TV in the family room. As well, we had a washer/dryer installed in the condo. Directly across the street you'll find the popular Farmers' Market every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning (schedule TBD post-Covid) for fresh local produce, fruit, breads and the like! Feel free to meander to the deli/market, grab some coffee at the Bad Ass Coffee company and shop at a number of stores across the street. The Paki Maui grounds are meticulously maintained, with mango and banana trees, a tropical garden with exotic Hawaiian flowers, as well as a koi fish pond with waterfall. You will enjoy the pool and jacuzzi on the grounds plus can relax on the resort's lounge chairs on the lawn at the ocean and under the palm trees. And feel free to prepare your own meals on the gas BBQs available in the swimming pool area. Please note that this unit (#227) is an end unit on the 2nd floor (there is an elevator behind the lobby). As an end unit there is some noise from the road so if you're sensitive to that (most people are not bothered by it as you can see from the great reviews!), you might want to consider my other option that is oceanfront, unit #323 and listing # 1320209 (but as it's oceanfront and more square footage, it's more expensive than #227!). Having two condos, I'm happy to therefore be able to provide options based on guests' budgets and preferences. Mahalo! Jill \*\*\*\*\* Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance \*\*\*\*\* The COVID pandemic, extreme weather events, natural disasters, unpredictable airlines, etc. have shown us there are always uncertainties in travel and therefore, "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) travel insurance is highly recommended (e.g., Google "Cancel for any reason trip insurance", visit www.insuremytrip.com, check what travel insurance your credit card may offer, etc.). Also please keep in mind the chance of family emergencies/bad weather delays, flight/rental car cancellations, job loss, snow/ice, etc. If you live in an area prone to hurricanes, forest fires, etc. and cannot make your trip, please seek reimbursement through your travel insurance. The condo owner will not take the financial risk if the guest is unable to travel for any reason, per the cancellation policy on the rental agreement. \- HI Tax ID #'s: TA-172-083-2000-01 and GE-172-083-2000-01 \- State and County tax rates total 18.666% \- Contact owner for cancellation policy and contract. The condo was cozy and comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was essential. Close to beaches, downtown Lahaina, attractions, etc. The gentleman manning the desk was very helpful and courteous. The condo was fully equipped and offered all the comforts of home. We loved the coffee shop across the street and also the pizza place down by the Times market. This condo was in a great location. Location, amenities, homey feel all contribute to making it an ideal place to stay. Loved the location in Honokowai close to great take out food and a wonderful farmers market. Condo was clean, well stocked with necessities and nicely decorated. Perfect two bedroom, two bath for our group. Nice walk to the ocean with chairs set out to enjoy the view. Pool and hot tub right by the ocean. Grills poolside for cooking. The washer and dryer in the unit was also very convenient. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone wanting a relaxing stay on Maui. ##### Karen L. Jill, the owner, was responsive and helpful. This unit can't be beat for price and location. Would recommend for a family. It suited our crew of four plus my parents very well. There is an ABC mini mart within a 5 minute walk which also has gas at an OK price. There is a state park right next door. The woman who was at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Jill our condo owner is about as AWESOME as you can get!! Owner very helpful with questions. The Paki Maui is in a great location regarding stores, food and beaches. However, the second bedroom is more appropriate for kids than adults as its small and no wifi. The rental is right next to the road which was very noisy. Jill had everything that we needed for our 9 month old including a packable bed with sheets, high chair, pool toys, umbrella and more. The open floor plan was nice as was our two balconies where i frequented several mornings to hear the waves and birds. Also loved the property itself including the lounge chairs on the lawn and the small courtyard with koi pond. We utilized the in home laundry services several times which was SO useful.
