East Pier in Ahuriri offers a lovely location with the rooms having ocean views with free on site parking. Studio room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. On site restaurant is ideal for those who dont want to venture out for all their meals. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance of East Pier or you can drive into the CBD (5 minutes) if preferred or to one of the many wineries around the district. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely views and fast access to walking/cycling trails. Rooms are clean and attractive. All have a balcony. We did not eat at the hotel as there are many good, local options.
