The hotel was generally tired looking and in need of an update in corridors and rooms. I expect much more from having stayed at many other Novotel hotels. I would chose an alternative to stay. The restaurant and food was good and staff very friendly and accommodating, although they did manage to get my food bill wrong, but made good with no issue.

Very good hotel in the area
Very good Hotel if you are in the area. I had some time and I could enjoy the swimming pool. A lot of dinning places around.

The food was excellent but expensive for long stays and of a higher quality than the bedrooms which are basic but very clean and the decor a bit dated. The pool is lovely but in the view of everyone eating.

For a group of 3 friends we had asked that the room had 3 beds. We were told that the hotel did not have such a room and had told Hotels.com that this was the case. One of us slept on the floor

Located in the middle of an industrial park. If you arrived at night, it would be quite difficult to find as there was basically no road signage. Rooms were rather dumpy but if you’re driving for 8 hours, it will be ok. The breakfast was pretty good albeit expensive.

It was simply a one night stay, on our way to the north. Location is the only thing I can't tell as we didn't go to Nantes centre. The children enjoyed the swimming pool, which was open til22:00. It's an indoor one. In the morning we had a nice breakfast at the terrace. Room was spacious enough for the four of us. Good wifi coverage. Nice bathroom, although I personally don't like those split ones so common in France. (Bathroom/toilet)

Break your journey here
Arriving on the ferry into Roscoff at 4pm this hotel was well located to break our journey down to Bordeaux. Good overnight stay followed by great breakfast selection and allfor a reasonable price.

Great Overnight. Stop
Everything up to the usual Novotel standard, room-wise: comfortable bed, decent bathroom, no frills but a nice environment. What makes this Novotel a winner for us is the quiet, convenient location, lovely friendly staff and excellent breakfast choice. There's also a swimming pool and terrace at present being refurbished but eventually to be brought under cover, which may make it useable year round.

Room wasn’t reserved - why Expedia??
Had a reservation confirmation - but no room available - my colleague I was travelling with had a room - resvations were identical and completed at the same time - only difference - HE HAD A ROOM! Hotel staff were very gracious - but the property was fully booked (as was almost the entire city) - they couldn’t make a room appear! This is an Expedia problem NOT a property problem. Very poor! Very disappointed!

Great price for a pool but on industrial estate.
Good price but a bit far out of Nantes. Very good service and the breakfast was excellent. The pool was on the small side but not many using it so fine.

Hotel with a pool
In need of refurbishment. The outside area with the pool was full of weeds and needing attention. Even the front of the hotel looked shabby. Novotel sign was broken and no lights on some letters. The breakfast was not as good as previous Novotel I used near Marne la Vallèe as most of its cooked food was cold.

Top Hotel
Although we only stayed 1 night when passing through the hotel was fantastic. Friendly and courteous staff and the room was great. We had a family room for 4 and had plenty of room, Wifi was free and fast and when we had breakfast it set us up for the day ahead, all round great stay.

Great place for a stop-over
Excellent place for a stop-over on way through France. Clean, great welcome and great breakfast. Not too much in the area in terms of restaurants however there is a McDonalds and a Grill literally 2 mins walk away. The Grill was 15 euros for a burger and chips where as McDonalds was 3 euros - your choice. Hotel suited our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 6) but we did have to share double beds. Will use this place again.

Overall good value for money
Friendly, helpful staff. Room functional and clean with recently refurbished bathroom including drench shower. Good choice of food at breakfast but 15€ so not cheap. Hotel not particularly attractive and located in an industrial area but ideal for a good value overnight stop

This is a very nice hotel. Mustapha in reception could not have been more helpful and proffesional even helping us with our luggage upstairs and suggesting places we could visit in Nantes the next day. What a good ambassador for Novotel he is! The room was clean and the beds very comfortable after what was a long days driving. There is a secure car park. You will not regret booking this hotel.

We were really happy with this hotel. It has a modern feel and a very welcoming reception area. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The room was comfortable, cozy and very clean. The shower was great. The swimming pool was a decent size. The only negative things I would say is that we felt a little let down by the cocktail bar as it listed a choice of about 6 cocktails but only stocked the ingredients for one cocktail (Mojito), the quality of which was poor; the mint was tarnished, there was no ice and the cheap looking plastic nesqick stirer didn't warrant the 7.50 euros per drink. The resturant was quite pricey too but there is a lovely restaurat a few minutes walk away or, if you're desperate, a Mc Donalds. If we travel that way again we would definitely stay here.

Overnight Stay
Perfect position to spend an overnight stop, avoiding the hassle of driving into large cities. Quiet peaceful situation, well kept gardens surround the accommodation, with areas to relax in, weather permitting. Helpful, interested staff, who looked after us very well. Would return again as a hotel to spend a good restful night.

friendly reception staff. On a semi industrial estate which was not greatly sign posted. But everything you needed within an easy 5 min drive. Room good , beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet great, but they did try to charge me for it despite having already paid for it.Luckily I kept the initial Expedia e-mail which stated that brekki was included. Good wi-fi reception in room, and free computer to use in reception which was great. Good value, you get what you pay 4.

Excellent all round.
Our stay was a 1 night stop on the way down from Cherbourg to Bordeaux. The hotel is easy to find and has secure parking. Rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a lovely pool area. Our evening meal was good value and there was a variety of menu options. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and free food for children. In fact Novotel go out of their way to look after children. The staff were friendly. I couldn't fault this place. A great find and somewhere we will use again.

Decent stop over place
Pretty decent family rooms and friendly staff. Can be a bit tricky to find if you don't have a GPS. I would use it for another stop over point on the way down to the south.
