Separate from the house, Private suite with free parking, beautiful private patio area with outside shower, gardens, bbq and a firepit to enjoy the evening before heading to your very comfortable queen size bed, 1 twin pull out couch, and large windows for natural light. We're a 8 minute walk to our local beach, Wall Beach, where you can use our kayaks, swim, watch sea life and again just relax. Nanoose has many other beaches, hiking trails, professional bike trails, is only a 10 minute drive to Parksville where you can find restaurants, beaches, water falls and sight see. Only a 20 minute drive to Nanaimo. You can also use our bicycles to ride to our 2 local breweries, pub and restaurant or even try skydiving. We're a 2.5 hour drive to Tofino or Ucluelet (you clue let) for a great day adventure but not having to pay the high prices there. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cooking implements and there are even a few staples so you don't have to buy your own cooking oil or salt and pepper. The studio suite is quite spacious and tastefully decorated and the private outdoor patio with outdoor shower is the perfect little oasis. It’s an easy 8 minute walk to a gorgeous secluded beach. When we were there we saw maybe 3 other people on the beach. The only downside is that there's some traffic noise during the day from the main road near their place, but we didn't notice it at night. Set in farm lands a short walk from a small beach, the Hideaway was a perfect base for us to explore - easy drive from Nanaimo Ferry. 25 minutes to Cathedral Grove ancient trees, 2 hours from Ucluelet, 2.5 hours drive to Tofino beaches. The Hideway is beatifully decorated and has everything you need - and more. Pam has thought of everything. Kitchenette and bathroom are well stocked with all the essentials (and more). The outdoor space is a nice spot for an evening drink (gas firepit and an outdoor shower). The Well Beach is a 8 minute walk (partly on main road) - with a lovely view over the water to the mountains at sunset. Would have loved to stay longer to explore the local area and brews - next time, hopefully. The place was perfect and clean, and felt nice and private too. Close to the beach and local attractions. Cam and Pam were super attentive and helpful! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the place was spacious. The outdoor area was very cute and a nice extra area for us to spend time. Pam was so helpful and gave us some good advice for local hikes. She also helped us to kayak on the water nearby, which was fabulous. A fantastic stay! ##### Michelle M. This is a beautiful and well-planned space that made a great base for exploring the area.The interior had all the amenities we needed and the outside patio with shower and bbq was an awesome space to spend evenings eating and relaxing. Hosts were responsive and inviting - really impressed.Easy (driving) access to town and a nice bay nearby for relaxing. I would definitely stay here again! ##### Joel S.
