"My family loved staying here. The beds were comfy. The location was perfect. And parking was super easy. My favorite part were the staff. They were lovely and super friendly. Great value."

"First of all this resort is on the water, but I reserved a studio room probably 4 weeks in advance for $347 and i probably got the worst room on the resort . I was on the 1st floor, my balcony was 3 feet from the sidewalk then bushes with a parking lot behind the bushes. Immediately the right of the balcony was multiple trash dumpers. so i get to look at a parking lot while smelling the dumpsters. Yes, i asked for a different room and of course the only room available was a water front 1 bedroom suite for an additional $280 so now we are talking $627+taxes. Having just come from the Fairmont Empress in Victoria (world famous 5 star hotel) which ran me $579/night, I was scratching my head as to why this an more expensive. Just saying...."

"Sadly, the hotel was under renovations when we were there for our stay but didn't really affect us except for the lobby couches and chairs were down the hallway. We checked in early and found our room to be great, just what we asked for. They not only upgraded us when I requested an east facing room but didn't charge us for the extra cost. They provided extra pillows for us when we asked as my wife has some extra needs. The Ricky's in the hotel was great and we had good food during our stay. I would recommend this hotel if you need a decent hotel at a great price in Nanaimo."

"The townhome itself was very nice, very clean. But staff at the resort were not very helpful. We stayed there for two nights. Every day the pool was out of pool towels. We went the front desk where the staff was no help. They told us that housekeeping was in charge of the towels. When checked out, the front desk staff member told us that management would be contacting me but it's been a week and I have not heard back from the resort."
