Awful night. Door is so thin it sounds like it’s open. Extremely loud, suite above was moving furniture and stomping from the time we check in to the time we went to sleep, then woke us up in the morning. Before the check out time, had a staff memeber just walk in while in the washroom!!! No knocking …nothing!!! Unreal. Spiders making nests right above our bed. Dirty bathroom sink. Definitely will NOT be back.

The property is an old rundown building that looks “new” the smell of mustiness hits you at the front desk. In the room it had the same smell - one bed was so hard it felt like just the box spring . When I brought my concerns to the lady working the front desk she was in kind and extremely unprofessional. Our conversation was so far from customer service friendly as she refused to look at me or truly try and make something work . As she then yelled at me and kicked me out all while my two boys watched from outside . I would never book here nor would I recommend this place . I couldn’t believe the lack of customer service!

Dont expect too much. You get what you pay for. Treat this hotel as a place to stay. Check in was smooth. Location is convenient and easy to find. There's a dog park nearby if you are traveling with your pup. Downside: Black debris coming out from the tap and shower. They don't clean the room daily and no fresh towels. You use an access code to get into the room, and there's only one lock so I dont feel very safe. The room is little smelly, not very bad but obvious. I may or may not stay there again, depending on how much budget I have.

I thought this place was great for a night or two. Very clean, nicely furnished, the bathroom was nicer than mine at home lol, and that beautiful big rain head shower was fabulous. I think this is a great little “spot” to spend a couple of nights, easy going check in, keyless doors, and stores and restaurants very close by. Small parking lot but no issue for me. Only thing I would recommend is get a room on the top floor. Just as I had finished texting my friend how nice the room was and how peaceful it was, two inconsiderate clod hoppers moved in upstairs. Either these ceilings are not insulated or those people were brutal. I complained to front desk when I could no longer take it, and the noise seemed to taper off shortly after that. I would definitely stay here again. There was a nice fenced in little garden and patio area on the property. Because I was on the ground floor, I had a patio door. Was nice.

I forgot to check in while out and about. They kindly phoned me in the evening to confirm my arrival. Immaculately clean, comfortable, good bed and pillows, super-friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Avoid This Place!
Was interrogated at check-in because I lived in the same city as hotel. Asked over and over why I was staying there. All my wife and I wanted was a quiet night away from the kids. 4 hours after I checked out I was called by hotel claiming I “broke” a sheet on the bed and they would need to charge me $50. Do yourself a favour and avoid this property!

Check in process was very awkward as the man checking me and my partner in, kept convincing us to get a room with a second bed. I had booked a king size room for us but he couldn’t fathom 2 women sharing a bed?? Ignorant and very uncomfortable. The room we were in (104) was very noisy until midnight. We could hear people at the front desk talking LOUD. People upstairs of us were stomping all day. Plus it was my birthday. Not a good experience.

There are homeless people around the property and I hope my car is safe. But I feel the motel has done a nice Reno and looks clean and fabulous. My check in person was very kind and friendly. Great value and central location

Pros: - Conveniently located near Departure Bay Ferry Terminal - Friendly, professional staff - Affordably, reasonably priced - Nice, boutique feel - Free parking - Extremely clean washroom - Located <4 minute walk to gas station/convenience store and McDonald's - Pet-friendly Cons: - Bed and surrounding floor clean, but not 5/5 clean, found <10 small hairs on the bed, pillows, and surrounding floor, looked as if wasn't thoroughly cleaned/vacuumed properly, although friendly staff reassured me that the beddings were clean and that the room was likely just dusty - Can be somewhat noisy at night, depending on traffic, not totally quiet since location is next to a road; rooms are not sound-proof so can sometimes hear voices from the adjacent hallway Overall, I had a good experience and will likely book here again
