"wonderful staff. We had a very beautiful sea side room on the top floor.
The pool is a bit small but the location to the sea makes up for the small pool.

Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. Beds were really good quality and comfortable. The pool is not massive but god enough for a cool off and immaculately...

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool.
We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. The special Sri Lankan curry is highly recommended.

What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. The rooms are minimally furnished, but have everything you want and there is also access to a common lounge/dining area for further relaxation...

The hotel is nestled in the jungle along a dirt path. Our room had a balcony, with chairs, looking over the jungle and the lake, incredibly tranquil and beautiful. It was perfect even in the rain. We were treated superbly by the staff who wrote happy birthday mum in palm leaves on the bed and produced a cake with a firework fountain on top. All the Tuk tuk drivers new exactly where to take us and it was less than 10 minutes drive from the station - negotiate the price. The owner told us how much...

If your looking for a relaxing five star experience at an excellent price with unbelievable service this is the place for you.
Can't recommend this quiet boutique hotel enough. Arabella is a stunning white villa on a quiet beach, a great place to unwind and a good base to explore the southern and western part of Sri Lanka. The staff are exceptional and will cater to your every wish. The hotel only has four rooms and feels more like a home than a hotel. Without a doubt it's my favourite hotel in...

I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel and place to relax, only things to maybe improve would be to add some ventilation to the bathroom as it turned into a sauna and to maybe increase the amount purchased for the restaurant as it did regularly not have my first choice of food - not great as there aren't many other options in the locality

We loved our stay at Ceylon Olive. Kumudu & Era could not have done more for us during our stay, even when I had made a mistake about booking the wrong room; they quickly helped us move to another.
They helped us book excursions and recommendations on where to eat or visit. We would love to come back and visit in the future! Thank you for making our first trip to Sri Lanka so special!

I loved it to stay there! Would have liked to stay longer. I came alone and just wanted to take a rest and calm down at the beach during my whole trip. Just after I arrived in the lobby I got an icetea without asking. Unfortunately I just spent there 2 nights. Everyone was so friendly. I totally recommend the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely excellent, very comfortable, lovely staff, amazing breakfast and a beautiful pool area. It’s slightly out of town but a short tuk tuk ride away from the main sights and worth it for the historic building and setting.

Hotel is located in nice area not over crowded. Hotel has 3 pools very clean, the beach is good.
Rooms were cleaned everyday, we stayed for 4 nights, entertainment in the evening was excellent, food choice was excellent lots of verities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We didn't
