Leslie’s place was the perfect home away from home! We had an amazing stay in Nairn! The suite was cozy and it had the perfect kitchen for cooking our own meals and relaxing after a day of exploring. The house made an excellent base for walking to the beach and checking out the town! Thanks again for such a great stay, we will definitely be recommending to our friends and family!
We had a lovely stay at Apartment 1. Leslie is a very welcoming host and the property itself was very comfortable and super clean. We appreciated the amazingly comfortable bed and how quiet it was, although you are only a few minutes from the town centre. We certainly hope to be back.
A wonderful apartment with easy walking access to all of Nairn. Our host Leslie was marvelous, he greeted us when we arrived giving us a detailed tour of our apartment showing us how things worked, he even gave us a lift to fetch our hired car the following day. He made thoughtful recommendations for dinning and things to see and do.The apartment has a warm and comfortably feeling, great bathroom and shower. We like the garden and outdoor space. It was a perfect start to our extend journey in Scotland.
I stayed over the Christmas and New Years holiday. The host went above and beyond decorating my room, stocking my fridge with everything I might need. He even took me on a wonderful day excursion.
We enjoyed everything.Amazing place and property, mint condition and presentation. Cleaness at very top.The property has everything for a daily living. We were welcomed with some very nice food ….Les, the owner, is a very nice Gentleman…..very friendly and helphul…..it was a pleasure to meet him.We were able to do more than we expected due to the great location and also the information provided by Les, directions, best routes, distance, etc….We will be back for sure, I truly recomend….
It was once again very nice in Leslie‘s accompmndation.
Very well equipped Apartment. Very clean. Leslie gave us many tips for visiting. Great location for excursions.
We were able to enjoy the weather on the great terrace.
Thank you very much for these wonderful days.
Property was clean. Parking was off street and adequate and we gad a large car. Washing machine worked well. 1hr 25 min per load. Using drying rack near radiator clothes dried well. Towel heating rack in bathroon also helped dry sock and small items. Shower had decent power on would get quite hot once boiler water reached it. Owner left us a little starter food. Neighborhood felt safe and clean. A tip for getting into and out of the street easier is to go one block up in the subdivision and use the traffic light.
Warm welcome from Leslie. Very knowledgable about the area and has compiled lots of information for a variety of outings around the area.
Leslie’s has thought of everything you might need on your break. Everything clean and comfortable and breakfast for the next day very kindly supplied
We couldn't have been more pleased with the Annex unit number 1. Everything was clean and our hosts were very friendly and accessible. Everything we could have possibly wanted for a 4 day stay was provided. Our host (Leslie) even went to the effort of adding some kitchen staples for us milk, eggs, bacon, breads, fruit). On top of that he also recognized our anniversary with a very nice card and bottle of champagne. So very unexpected but very appreciated. I strongly recommend this facility for your next stay around Inverness or Culloden. Thanks Leslie !!!!
We stayed here 5 years ago and returned. I think that says a lot :). The Annex is in a perfect little spot, and has everything we need. Bed is comfy, space is cozy, and feels like home. Besides the conveniences, Leslie is amazing. Great communication, willing to help with whatever you need. And had some items for breakfast there!… which was wonderful after a late night arrival. He is honestly just a wonderful man, and this time was hard to leave! He has become like family. I hope we can return soon.
A somewhat outdated (recently renovated ??!) apartment, which is rented and managed by a friendly older gentleman.
The cozy two-room apartment with a small, separate bathroom contains everything you could expect to cope with everyday life, although preparing extensive meals is difficult or impossible because some kitchen appliances are missing. Even if the existing ones are of poor quality and some are not usable (pans), you can still prepare simpler dishes without any problems.
Fortunately, and in keeping with British-Scottish politeness, some basic food items were already available (coffee, bread, bacon, eggs), so no additional effort was necessary on the day of arrival. The apartment was clean, but not pure: there is a need for minor improvement in many corners, starting with the moldy corners of the bathroom, a missing wardrobe, and squeaky door latches. Also not so convincing was the fact that the owner apparently entered the apartment several times while we were away - without asking first.
Nevertheless, a beautiful garden, a wooden terrace - also a bit outdated - and the silence of the apartment were good. In connection with the extensive tourist offer and the massive effort that the owner had put into the apartment and the various, self-created brochures for tours in the area, it is still a total of 4 stars.
Everything you need in the kitchen home from home. All the little touches are very appreciated from shower gel to tea and coffee and even milk. Had a great sleep, very comfortable bed and great shower. We have stayed before and will definitely return.
Ideal location with beach access, drivable to Inverness, Cairngorms, NC500, Loch Ness! Great host and hospitality, and lovely accommodations! Couldn’t ask for more! We hope to come back!
Leslie, our property manager, was an excellent host, personable and most helpful with suggestions for area activities. The apartment is centrally located and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go within Nairn.

Wonderfull place to stay, great host, and the location is ideal for exploring the environment
Leslie made us feel very welcome. He is a great host, provided perfectly in our needs. Lovely to talk with. The apartment is more than fully equipped. The location, near Inverness, is ideal. For visiting several touristic places as well for exploring the beautiful nature nearby.
His idea of meeting in the sitting room at evenings surprised us in a positive way. Shortly: we will return because we had a great time at Leslie's!

Facelift??
First impression is that the owner needs to engage help as it needs a good deep clean throughout Far too much artificial /real plants and ornaments add to the huge amount of clutter in guest sitting room of property which needs a major update. Items in flat look and feel very old and over used. His keenness to please is charming but no answer to poor standards.
