Horse riding can also be found 1 mile away. Adjacent is the castle with gardens and grounds, which are open in the summer. Shop and pub 1 mile. There are drops in the garden. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need and we felt very at home. Our children loved the huge book selection and the PlayStation went down very well! The garden is vast and great for the kids to play in and the garage is full of all sorts from table tennis to buckets and spades. Situated at a very accessible distance from Nairn, the cottage has sizable woods to walk in to the rear and we made good use of these. All in all, we had a fantastic week and would highly recommend this cost, comfortable cottage. Cleaning was not as expected, especially during C-19, with crockery not cleaned, socks left in the main wardrobe plus other areas obviously not cleaned either. The surrounding area is wonderful, and well worth a visit. We would definitely revisit this part of Scotland, however probably not use this cottage.
