About this property

Cozy Semi Oceanfront Cottage with a 3 min walk to the beach

  • Take a getaway to this serene little cottage with a short walk to the beach. Located closely between two public beach accesses, it’s easy to take a stroll to the ocean. Enjoy reading or catching up on emails in the front sun room in one of two cozy sitting areas. The home offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen and a shared bathroom. There is a full kitchen with a sun deck off the back. Easy walk to breakfast or dinner at The Dunes Restaurant and putt putt, shopping and ice cream across the highway (there is a crosswalk at stoplight south of the house.)

    Thanks
    Patrick

Great beach location!

Check-in at this property was incredibly efficient and the owner was responsive to all of our needs! The location is awesome! Public access to the beach was just a few hundred feet away. We were also a very short drive away from shopping, restaurants, and other attractions.

Nags Head Beach Bungalow

This was great for our family of 4. Beds are comfortable and the space is nicely decorated. They had plenty of towels and we were able to cook meals easily enough. We loved how close it was to the beach. Easy 4 minute walk. You can’t really see the ocean from the house, but location was super for our first time at the OBX. Host was responsive and generously accommodated a late departure so we could enjoy the nice day. Very grateful.

Perfect!

BFF’s for 30 years we stayed in this darling 2 BR 1 BA home. Location was super convenient to a great neighborhood market, lots of restaurants were close enough to walk to and the beach access was close as well. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with all the basics you’ll need. Communication with host was great and they were helpful quickly on a couple items needed and they were gracious and friendly. We would stay here again!

Very enjoyable!

Cozy indeed - the house was perfect for the two of us. Enough room to comfortably spread out and yet still homey & warm. Accessing the beach was quick and easy. There's a lot to do within a short radius. Patrick was a lovely host and prompt with all communications. The light/fan in the entryway wasn't working, but that didn't detract at all from the home. Thank you again for a lovely week!

Grand stay.

The property was just as advertised. It's perfectly located, with easy access to both the ocean beach and the sound. The beach decor is perfect for the area! And the Dunes Restaurant (owned by the landlord's family) is conveniently located 2 doors away. It serves a great breakfast! The place was reasonably clean, although there were little things (sand under rug, mascara on clean washcloths, interior of cupboards).that could use a bit of attention. We loved having lidded containers for leftovers, something that often is missing in rental houses.
